Wow! What. a cool place with a great vibe. Love the temples with snow and hot water going on at the same time. The food and the snacks looks fantastic. Hot water baths looks amazing! Enjoy! 😊
The snow fall look amazing Chris. Especially at night. Japan is amazing 😍😍 thank for sharing Chris and Carol. Say hello to your mom and dad. Neal from Trinidad and Tobago.
Japan in the winter seems pleasant! You’re in a sweatshirt so must be comfortable temperature. Seems like a lot is affordable even if the lodging isn’t cheap. Good food, beautiful nature
Every tourist picks up similar places and makes a video of them rushing around. However, your videos featuring Kusatsu are really wonderful. I think this is worth it.
Chris and Carol this was one of the best videos I have seen! The places you showed us are so unique and so is the food food! Looking forward to your next video
I always watch your videos. Interesting contents. I wish I can go to Kusatso Onsen in the future. It reminds me of Yellowstone hot springs in Wyoming.😊
Great video.... The hot springs are more than just hot water... it's the minerals in the water from deep below the surface. After u get pass the egg smells, it's very healthy for the body to soak in the warm springs. Most, health hotels, keep barrles of snow. They keep the temp just right. There are spas. That one side is for men, other for females.. there are, rows of pools, 2 or 3 feet deep... You start, in the warm one. Sit for 15 mins, then go to the next one. It will be warmer. Sit for 15 mins, and move to a warmer one. You keep move up to warmer, till it to hot for you..but I promise. When, you do the cool down, water dip....your body, will be zero stress, acks are gone. You will be so relaxed. When I lived in Japan.. I went many times. Note spa, unwritten laws.... Don't look down. You have a dozen black belts kick your ass, ..( funny but true.), Japan shares there customs. And they all get mad when outsiders disrespect them. Great video... And your wrong, you can film, in the warm spas, naked... Carole, would look nice in her birthday suit.😂😊😊, but u have to only hold the camera... Like Chevy Chase, in National Lampoon, European Vacation....😂😊😂 Funny stuff... Watch that movie....
C & C You should make sure you have a Kaiseki meal while you are in Japan. They are expensive but worth it. Love your videos. I have been watching for years.
Loved it ❤ you’ve made a nice job showing it! Loved the spooky vibes! I remember that Gab vlog about a year ago+ (I think November 22)the timing was so off😂 nothing happening anywhere but you still could see this place was nice you re visiting at a much nicer time and this vlog is 👌🏼. I hope you get to see the Sakura 🌸 blossoms when you get back to Tokyo! Thanks for your heads up about the tattoos 👍🏼😅 I was wondering did you get this house on Airbnb? Do you have a link I’m really interested in Thank you for cheering me up with your lovely Japanese adventures … one day closer to the day I will finally visit ❤Japan 🇯🇵❤ 🤞🏼 Sabrina 🇬🇧🇫🇷
Chris, are you going to film the bullet train journey? Last experience in the other country wasn’t good for you guys. Hello to mum and dad and beautiful Carol too.🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🇬🇧 PS: Carol finally saw a good snowfall… hooray!🤟🏾🥰🙏🏾
Swimsuits are not allowed to be worn in any hot springs because they are unhygienic. If you enter the bathtub in a Swimsuits, the water will quickly become cloudy with dust, debris, and detergent residue.
I was in line at TJ Max today and met a Brazilian who moved here 5 years ago she is an actress and singer. I'm going to see her next month on stage 😁 I said bon dia. I hope that was ok because I only know Portuguese a little
I love Kusatsu! I went on Friday night when the the large outdoor hot spring is allowed for both sexes at once! Best night ever. Also for future trips, I think the best way to get there is to take the express train from Ueno (Tokyo) to Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station. From there the bus ride is only 25 mins and more frequent (they match up with all of the trains)
there was when we went at the end of March, but not sure if that is always normal. The weather was all wrong this year, cherry blossoms came about 3 weeks late because it was way colder than normal
was normal in this place, the Japanese were eating walking around. Maybe it's because many of the food places had no indoor and seating areas, not sure
A TIP...HERES A QUICK, LESSON FOR, SAYING THANK YOU IN JAPANESE... SAY, THIS KIND OF FAST..( DONT, TOUCH, MY, MUSTACHE.), NOW, SLUR IT A LITTLE... DOIE TA A MUSTA, AND THEN TILT YOUR HEAD TO THE PERSON. SECOND, WAY TO SAY THANK YOU. ( DOMO IGOTO DOE , SIMA A SONN, THEN A QUICK...HIGH, BOW, YOUR BODY JUST A LITTLE FACEING THE PERSON. TRY THOSE A FEW TIMES..... TRYING JUST A LITTLE JAPANESE, THEY WILL HELP YOU MORE, YOULL SEE...,,
23:49 Oh, did you wash every inch of your body before entering? Swimsuits are not allowed to be worn in any hot springs because they are unhygienic. If you enter the bathtub in a Swimsuits, the water will quickly become cloudy with dust, debris, and detergent residue.
Originally, tattoos in Japan were done by yakuza. Intimidate people by showing them their tattoos. In Japan before the establishment of the new Meiji government, tattoos were also used as markings for serious criminals. Today's young people in Japan do not know about that history, so they are lightly influenced by Westerners.

The variety of places that you have visited is amazing. You were just recently in Namibia, landscapes so barren and hot, and, now this.
Chris is such a gentleman wiping off Carol's feet. What a cute couple
Onsen consistently have the power to alleviate fatigue.
Beautiful!!
Amazing. I've always wanted to visit an onsen and that one is pretty cool. We have similar hot springs resorts in Los Baños in Laguna south of Manila.

Japanese Brazil town is ooizumimati GUNMA prefecture
I've been here in Japan for more than 30 years and I've never seen anyone wear a swimsuit in a hot spring bath in Japan before, even in mixed baths.
So what do they wear then 🤔
@@donbrashsux
Nothing, most are naked.
Even in Japan wearing her tiny bikini😊love it
@@donbrashsux We don't wear anything. 🤷♂ It is just nudity. It isn't a big deal. Nude public bathing has taken place in Japan for centuries.
Swimsuits are not allowed to be worn in any hot springs because they are unhygienic. If you enter the bathtub in a Swimsuits, the water will quickly become cloudy with dust, debris, and detergent residue.

Thank you so.
Hi... I always find your videos useful ! Japan is great, isn´t?
Funny that they heat the room/bed with electricity - when hot water is available more or less for free 🤔
Interesting location! The private hot spring looks so relaxing! Does your skin smell of sulfur after the bath?
Bom dia tudo bem ❤❤❤
