Love the 800. Just pure, unadulterated pain. Starts faster than most ATHLETES can even run a 400, and finishes almost just as fast. The entire race sucks. That's what makes it great.
Slow pace is not for Korir. I'm sure he regretted this race. He's better over 800m but he made 400m finals and not this. He might need to take a leaf from his teammate Rudisha and start running his own races. He's so much faster than almost everyone else.
@@valter9604 they’re not polish but they had no problem pronouncing kszczot which is polish. If they can pronounce that they should be able to pronounce such a common Spanish name
Jacob Kluckhohn I’m puertorriqueño, and we are US citizens but not like the state. We are an unincorporated territory located in the northeast Caribbean Sea. USA authorized Puerto Rico to develop their own constitution and this law gave Puerto Rico the control of the activities of the internal government. In some aspect we have autonomy.
48 second first lap in the semi-finals🙊
Arop's form is beautiful, it reminds me a lot of Rudisha's stride. He looked so effortless as he ran
The legs do, but his arms are flapping everywhere
@@valter9604 not anymore

I love these videos, thanks World Athletics!
Wesley Vazquez is the most muscular 800m runner I've ever seen
.....I remember training on the track🤔

Indeed. The guys with top speed and poor tactics need to be careful to not become the next Wilson Kipketer.
He then went on to win gold in 2021 and 2022
Who else misses the track!?😫
I miss the track but not the 800!
I miss the 8 imao
My field has open again so I'm pleased
The Polish are 'Kenyans' of Europe. They usually perform well at mid distance events.
except here in these races :D
Here goes Vascues!
Come on man, pronounce it correctly
They’re not spanish, can you pronounce polish names? Didn’t think so

Orgullo Boricua 🇵🇷💪🏻
Go Wesley! Nicely done 💪🏼
Has the 2021 world championships been postponed?
Considering the Tokyo Olympics are now set for 2021 probably but idk
It’s a year away. Hopefully Covid will be at least mostly gone by then
It has. It will happen in 2022 due to the Olympics happening in 2021. Check the World Athletics website
Yes it’s in 2022 now
And he off like a KSZCZOT!
he's
rip korir, you'll get em next time.
Rip?!
And giles is moving up now indoors
55 second last 400m... ouch
I don't understand why Puerto Rico runs as their own country even though Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens

Glad NABIL got a DQ for doing that on the final stretch!
I love how Vasquez gets excited and holds up the #1 sign after getting first in a semi final... to go and get last in the final😂. Are you really #1?
He finished fifth in the final. And considering the kind of season he had in 2019, a little celebration is acceptable.
It's annoyed to hear the female announcer speaking the wrong name
First
That female ommentators' voice is Super ANNOYING!!
Adam flop
Brazier no sportsmanship? he tried to block out Arop who carried him for first 600m?
He didnt even get in Arops way??
Dude, whatbare u watching?
Well, he did come a little into Arop's lane, but no rules broken and he did not impede Arop.
