That One don’t think that’s what he meant but ok. I love symmonds too but that wasn’t a record setting strategy. It’s still amazing how he made up for his short comings tho, but it’s called a weak strategy cause people like rudisha with the speed and athleticism will rarely fall to it. 5 seconds after 5:50 you can see Bosse get shoved aside a bit by Bett, and Bosse still comes back to win it, he showed those chumps who was boss for sure, he got shoved and still won, what a champion! Bett needs to run a cleaner race and not be such a douchebag next time, shame on him for being such a hostile runner. I would ban that guy from future competitions. If you can't get in front of a runner on the inside, stay on the outside, don't shove him behind you, that's Bullocks behaviour.

In life - you have to seize what you want. Bosse showed that in that race. From his demeanour at the beginning of the race, right until the end.
Kszczot was great in his prime. He did it again twice in 2015 and 2017. A lot of medals in his great career. It was great to witness it 🇵🇱

With the injuries Rudisha has struggled with over the last 5-6 years, Nigel should have been the most dominant 800m male athlete in the world. He's just the nearly man.
Amos also dealt with injuries too, but I agree he really f’d things up here and in Tokyo, he’s almost always the fastest in world then somehow ends up injured before the champs or runs badly in it

Maybe if he'd started sprinting 10 or 20 meters earlier, but he was badly placed so he had to reach the outer lanes, and that ended up costing him a bronze.

The last 200 Bossé ran it in 26.7 and the Polish Kszczot in 26.4. /Amos had already run badly tactically since the semifinals (27.7)
Amos and Bett did not even congratulate the French winner though. After all that tussling they only talked to each other.
