    Massive respect to Korir. He ran both the 400m and the 800 m heats and semis- the two hardest events. He still has a lot to go but he will soon make it to the podium if he stays fit and trains hard.

      Harmony, Wayde is the record holder not the undefeatable ! His injuries were unfortunate. Gardiner needed some real competition

      @@gabrielvaldes-ramos6980 Yes but it's not Korir's main event. Most of the field consists of 200/400 guys, as far as I know, Korir is the only one who doubled the 400/800.

      Some Athletes can't stand the pressure of major competitions.

      Indeed ..such was his domination on this occasion that even his semifinal time 44.13 none of the others would surpass in the final and he was only in 3rd gear!

    Ugh, so sad for Davide Re, the best European in the lineup. Was 0.07 from his PB and 0.07 from a spot in the final. Excellent work still!

    What happened to Michael Norman is still a mystery. Surely, even with an injury, he’d struggle to run 45.94.

      Honestly I think he was just burnt out. This was the tail end of a long season with pretty intense training at the start.

      When you are a clean athlet, you cant be in Top conditions for almost four quarters.
      This could be a good sign, that norman is clean.

    Michael Norman's performance was bizarre and a letdown. Still don't understand what went on. if Lyles had also lost in the 200M, I would have asked for my money back.

      That means he owned the World Lead time of that year. Also, if you were wondering the Red Bib is for the defending champion from the previous year. You cant see it in this video because Van Niekerk was absent. But you can see it on other events.

      @@dereckdean7382 well not really. He beat Kerley right before at the Diamond League final. Kerley got crushed by Gardiner in the final. That being said, Norman would have had a hard time with Gardiner healthy or not.
