I actually rewatched the vid at 3:20 recently and i remember it was my first exposure to lethal company and also made me watch the amazing digital circus because of the song.
Okay so I have a suggestion for the Christmas Special; monsters of folklore join you to help fight off the alien invasion, and Dracula sacrifices himself to pull the moon back together so the werewolves can transform and turn the tide of battle. Also, if you can find a space to, ABSOLUTELY tow a spaceship with a forklift
The lore is also really interesting. Basically, you're in Los Angeles after a massive war between three global powers broke out: Europa, Eurasia, and Euruska. After a lot of conflict and tensions, a massive war broke out that wiped out every living politician and general, leaving AI to run the conflict forever as humans just try to get by.
i love it in all of this futuristic apocalyptic aesthetic with mechs, drugged out hulking soldiers, and robots of doom that there is just a T-90A like comrade how is that thing even running its like 100 years old at that point.
Like, imagine you're a scav and a huge mech rounds the corner and aims at you with its massive railgun, before it just goes "Meh, not worth the shot" and just walks past you to leave you be.
So basically the devs didn't plan to make it available this early, but fans were so ravenous to get their hands on it that they decided to release it in early access in order to get constructive feedback from fans and give fans what they wanted
I've seen videos of this game as well as the world and factions of this game and this game has potential indeed. Before the apocalyptic war resources were running dry and 'after' the war people don't want this war anymore but automated AIs and lack of enough people in charge means nobody can get together to make peace... And depending on the faction the units and backstory of the factions can vary greatly. Eurasia for example ain't so big on human rights even compared to the other factions with their joys on technology.
Great to see you play this game, I’m glad you guys had fun with it! It’s definitely got a lot of potential, and if it still manages to be fun in the half-baked state it is, I’m really looking forward to where the studio goes with it.
3:45 My dude really shot at Mecha Ricky's Vicinity, (for those who are not in the know, that specific Mech whom will call "Mecha Ricky" is a rogue mech and will go around killing people kinda like Killa in Tarkov)
Every location in The Forever Winter just pick your poison game, man would the horror Ignis face increase if they had been to the Underground Cemetery that just came out.
Correction: The holy obelisk was built following housing reform in the city of San Francisco, but all of the resident died the day after they moved in because the borders of San Francisco alter reality so that population density is actively fatal to the inhabitants.
So let me get this straight what is ignus at this point… a group of mercenaries, the military of everything to ever fight ever, GOD hunters?! Or a bunch of incompetent skilled fools that death himself feels bad for
So funnily enough the reason why this game looks so early and unpolished is because they were originally working woth gala games, a shitty crypto game company, thankfully they broke away from them but uh, yeah, the game still has some scars from that
I love how Du Hast Is playing In the background whenever the Mech Robot thing shows up
The mech with the approaching "enter sandman" feels super damn accurate for "Oh god it's right behind us"
I was not expecting the Last Day of War short to ever be mentioned on this channel, that was a blast from the past. Very good short.
Ah, Rubix and his small squad of insane squad members dealing with Eldritch Horrors like always.
The gameplay definitely needs to cook more but the VIBES are absolutely flawless

0:20 Jay, you just brought back memories for me by mentioning that. I still sometimes search this video up to watch it.
I've been GAMING on Forever Winter recently with the RPK and AA-12. Surprised and happy to see this on my notif page lol
LETS GOOO. I've been following this game for awhile, great to see you playing it!
Im glad im not the only one who got reminded of that short film when I played this game
ph my god just the mention of Dead Hand brought back so many memories of me watching that and it's companion piece i need to watch those again soon

I love the fact that in the game, bigger enemies will actually determine if you are a threat worthy of killing or ignoring
I’m happy I didn’t wait on it. It definitely needs to cook a bit more but it’s still a ton of fun. Can’t beat that atmosphere
In the defence of the developers, the community were begging for Fun Dog to release this game early even when they knew it wasn't ready.
This last Day of War Mini Cinematic... man... this Vid hit hard.

LETS GOOO I WAS HOPING YOU WOULD NOTICE THIS GAME
Just wait until he meets Toothy, the man-eating rogue biomech that uses humans as batteries Matrix-style

EXTRA DARK LIKE THE VOID OF SPACE BETWEEN STARS.
Indeciperable fear falled by just run is all anyone needs to know about something tbh
This game is like the Terminator but instead of Skynet, there are two Skynets that also hate each other.
If I remember right, Mother and the ogermech and invincible at the moment. The hunter kills spawn rates are just insane.
I've always loved these games. Still excited.
I love that you still use the crisps death sounds from that time when your buddy's mic was shit
Just got this game yesterday. It is incredible!
If a tank is retreating, that's a pretty good indicator you shouldn't go in the direction it came from.
Man I love this game. But yeah you are right it needs a lot of work to be complete. But what is here? Oh it’s beautiful!

About 2 hours in and liking it a lot!
Good job, love your channel
Nice review, bro
I just had the Last War pop up in my recommended feed yesterday... I thought you didn't like temporal anomalies, Jay XD

The gave it a 10

This review is totally not reviewing the game"After the first muzzle flash I couldnt see what she looked like so I wasn't gonna stop."
first
this game looks terrible, graphics looks like PS2
