if you make sure your cone wrench is not moving at all when you are tightening the lock nut then it should not back off the cone nut. When you are pulling both wrenches towards yourself to tighten it, you are actually lightly loosening the cone nut. Keep that cone wrench stationary and only tighten with the crescent wrench and then you should not have that initial play. Great comprehensive vid here, thanks for posting!
Ok this is a VERY detailed how to video. With this video anyone could rebuild their hub. Great job. I’m going to your channel now and see what else you have. Thanks so much
What an incredible detailed video ! Thanks Chris this will be extremely helpful. I am ordering new bearings (looks like all are from China) , grease and cone wrench before I tear mine down. Would be cool to find a better 20" wheel with better quality hub and quick release but not sure about a better quality one on line. You are "the man" and ride on Chris! PS sorry u had to do over because u lost the first video but this shows your honesty and integrity.
another excellent video Chris. very well explained. good to know how to do this. How about a video on how to tighten and true the front and rear wheel spokes ? that would be awesome. my rear hub spikes are clicking and i think they are loose. thanks for all your videos.
Is it possible to order a new lectric xp 2.O wheel hub for the front and back wheels let me know if u can thanks great video always go to videos for maintenance
@@letsgetturnt9759 If it was shipped that way, it should be covered. Doubtful it's covered if it was caused by use. Sorry but I don't work for Lectric, I bought my Lectric from the website. You will need to contact them.
@@chrislawson7622 I'm not sure. You would need the wheel, and either a new controller if you wanted to use your current battery, or a separate controller and battery just for the front hub with a throttle added to the left side.

I probably wont attempt half the stuff you show us how to do. But, man, we're all getting a terrific education about our bikes.
At least if something happens down the road, now you're getting to know your bike inside and out 👍
Beautifully done....the best " how to" on youtube....thank you !!!!!
Wow, thank you! Keeps me going!👍

Hi thanks for the video! Unfortunately my axle is bent. Do you happen to know where to find a replacement one? And the size?
Great Video!
Thanks for your videos. Are you planning to create one for the rear wheel? I'm at 3500 miles, it's time for me to service mine. 😅
Excellent Visio!

I do once a year on pedal bike. Need to know when to do it on my Lectric 1.0? Is there a certain mileage when to do it?
Honestly depends on how you ride, my bike I use daily I just now have greesed my bearings and I'm just over 10k miles
Do u know if there is a front hub motor that will fit this?
Hi Chris, there are. I may look into showing how to do it, but right now that's a costly addition that's not in my budget.
Maybe down the road
Do you know roughly how much that is?
