Everything's cool but you should have added to the you-will-need-list a bunch of different pieces of equipment worth 10 times more than rollers you can buy in a shop.

Потому для тех, у кого его нет - можно не протачивать склеенные бруски, а собрать ролики из шайб ( дерево, фанера, да хоть готовые мелкие колёсики для поддержки от падения совсем уж детских велов) Если материал, типа дерева, гигроскопичный, очень желательно его потом пропитать от влаги, или хотя бы просиликонить. Для начинающего и ещё не научившегося держать равновесие - не лишними будут добавленные по краям роликов диски большего диаметра, не посволяющие колесу соскочить с него в сторону. В конце клипа - " старушка" едет на столь низко поставленном седле, что такую нагрузку на колени выдержат не всякие молодые ноги...

Creo que juntando un poco más los rodillos de la rueda trasera se forzaría menos, la cosa es que la bicicleta tiene que estar encima no encajada en los rodillos traseros, de esa manera los mismos no trabarian tanto la goma, que como es flexible se queda encajada y no gira tan libremente

hypothetically if I was going to ask you to build one for me, how much would it cost me? It would probably be the best set of rollers on the market, but I doubt I can afford it. I do appreciate people who have this kind of skills but it take a long time to develop it to be able to make it yourself + not to mention the tools!

Most probably way more than a Tacx Roller would sell for. Not based on the materials but based on labour and craftsmanship.
