Made my free motion rollers. This is my first test after my build. This was the first time I have EVER been on rollers while shooting this video. This shows just how much easier it is to ride with the free motion unit. Before making these I tried riding the rollers without the free motion set up, after 10 minutes of getting sliding around on them I was finally able to ride. Any movement derailed my performance though. I'm glad I did because I can now see what the difference between having the free motion and not.
The bumpers and elastic bands are a great idea, Nicely done!
Top bit of DIY.
Add my name to the ever growing list of people who've asked for blueprints. Thanks for the video. Absolutely love it?
Nice work! I'm going to copy your build.
hell with blueprints.. How much would you ship one for?
plans please? this is great
May I please have the plans for this setup?
Very nice! Where did you get the rollers with the edge for the band to power the front roller?
They were cheap performance bike brand. Got them used on a craigslist. Even though these worked I sold them only after a couple months of having them. This was many years ago. Been using insideride Emotion rollers for over a year now and love them.
amazing thanks for sharing take care...coiln
Where I can get the rollers?
better than elite or tacx
But not as good as insideride Emotion rillers that I now have.
Your email doesn't work when i try to send
send me a Private message so i can reply or send me your email address. I cant see an option to send you a message on your youtube acount.
turn volume down, problem solved.
I can't find the blueprints through the link
whaaooo the best and easy realistic ride ..... well done and thx for sharing
I find your posting to be of great relevance to my interests, and wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
This adaptation of rollers looks great. I had a thought about trying to round out the pedal stroke. Up front on the rollers frame a mark could be placed, with hash marks on the wood frame. The more even the pedal strokes are the less fore and aft movement there would be. While the free motion gives you a better ride, the markings could be goals to improve body mechanics.
talk to texting. I am 5.5 + years out since a distracted driver really messed up my once abilities to redundantly be exposed two movements in my head without it eventually putting me in much pain, discomfort, and less ability to do many things in life safely. I just stumbled across this but dumb luck. I have over the years try to find way after way to fight muscle atrophy. None of my indoor trainers I've been successful with without further leading to symptoms increasing. best case scenario was a smooth paved rail trail but even the drive back and forth does its toll on me. How am I to go about trying to get a better laid out blueprint. I am mechanically inclined. I am just so grateful that there is another lead for me to try to follow up with it. Never give up. Never give in. Live each day as it may be your last to try to ever do that thing you love again... Because it just might be.
Thank you for reaching out. Scroll down just a bit from the video and you will see "Click link below for detailed blueprints." That will take you to "Nonprocycling.com". Scroll down and I have a full detailed build list.
Any chance that you can share those blueprints ... I am recuperating from a nasty fall and I dont like the trainers ... Rollers seem more attractive ..
Link to blueprints are in the description of the video 👍
Great idea. Epic fail on the ear splitting bass.
Hi Sir, Mind if I ask for a blue print please... thanks in advance.
Blueprints are in the link found in the description of the video
Blueprints please
Really nice! Much better than those stationnary things which costs a lot, feel unrealistic and requires you to have a spare wheel/tire for the floor.
That video is from 2011 and I've seen in Nov 2014 at a big bike event in Montreal, something like that which was marketed as a "new product" pff.
Boleh juga tuh bos boleh sedikit bagi ilmunya kontruksi roller trannernya
Looks like a nice set up.
niceeee
Nick quick question. What is the size of the bungees that you are using and what is the distance from your rollers to the apex point of the bungees, i.e., what is the distance ahead and behind the rollers. With my implementation I am trying to minimize this. Based on the fact that you made the metal angle guides 1 foot each, I would think that the rollers would only roll a maximum of 6in. North and 6in. South and one could reduce the distance before and after the rollers? thx.
Can I have the plans?

That bike looks super familiar 🤔
I must have missed the blueprint download... Exactly how would I contact you to see your blueprint. looking forward to making this it looks radical.
this looks way better than the real thing. How much did it cost?
Hi, I just sent you a private message. thanks
Like the bumper idea, GREAT//
You need the rollers to power a large fan in front of you so it's realistic
Very good, excelllent!!!
I'd love a copy of your plans! I'm in the midst of building my own frame and rollers. I may go the extra step and build them to be free motion as well! Thank you
Just sent them off. Sorry it took me a week to get them to you
Blueprints please . Also great music choice
Thanks, but i sold that a while ago. Riding a fully done up Supersix now ;-)
I watch this Vid several times.I will send you my mail and please I would love to build this...
I would love a set of these print my man. Great stuff.
could you send me the blueprints sir? nice design :))
Looks very impressive - may we have the instructions? Thanks so much
Does this reduce steering input caused by forward and back motion?
yes, that is the point of the motion rollers. The wheels on the frame absorb all the front to back motion. Makes it much easier. blueprints are in the description below the video if interested, Fee free to ask any questions
good form! very fluid pedal stroke.
hey great idia plz plz share blue printz
Awesome build, and great choice of music too :)
Hey Nick, love the DIY build. I couldn't find the blueprints at the link you provided. I would love a copy though if you are still sharing?

great job! and great song!!!!!
I would love a set of blueprints, Nick! These rollers look amazing!
Just sent them off to ya! enjoy
message sent with blueprints
Do you not need bumper wheels for the rear bicycle wheel, or does the front wheel dictate where the rear wheel trails?
Don't need the bumpers at all really, but they are a nice security blanket to have. front wheel dictates where the rear goes and will only go as far as the front wheel. cheers
sent
nevermind, I see you already did. Sent them for ya. Cheers
