Maybe you can make a little POV drive to say goodbye to the Fiesta and to have for posterity. Thank you for saving it 🙌 I hope that the next owner treats her well, is a survivor.
Great work with the comprehensive & sympathetic recommissioning of the mk1 fiesta, credit to you for making it a reliable 43 year old classic. I had a bad MX5 Klarius exhaust, rattly loose baffles, the silencer was rippled & badly scratched tail pipe, obviously dropped / crushed / damaged, never used that garage since, old exhaust was Klarius & always ok, just wore out
Well done Sion a great video and well done on the jobs on the fiesta which have really improved it and made it an even better little car it deserves a good home and what a survivor as well Always remember that loud exhaust on those and the engines as my dad said like a sewing machine it looks a million dollars now
My first car was a Ford Fiesta 1.1 L in yellow with a black vinyl roof. 1979 T registration. Bought in 1987 after passing my driving test. Loved the car. Simple to work on. Had tappets adjusted numerous times. Oh and the front screen wash was a rubber pump you pushed on the drivers side floor.
Oh I love the rubber pump on the floor! My grandmother had that in her mk1 Fiesta. Sadly this one is posh and has an electric pump; you can’t have everything 🤣
You had the same experience as me doing my clutch on the cinquecento, went from being incinerated on the driveway to being rained on every time I took out the toolbox and i broke the driveshaft flange and 68euro of gearbox oil flowed down the road before i noticed 😢😢 Had to get a second hand one from Spain via a Lithuanian website which took weeks to arrive.....
Shame it's going, but needs must. I agree about those exhausts, useless. I ended up buying a "Hella" branded backbox for my Mk3 on Amazon as it looked to be a better fit / better looking, and it turned out well.
This is such a lovely little car. I hope it finds an appreciative new owner soon!
I just binged watched from start to finish , enjoyed every minute if it , cheers for the uploads

Aww thank you. I’ve had Klarius before on other cars and they’ve been great, this is the first time it’s been completely dreadful

Thank you Daniel. Yea the exhaust note is kinda iconic, and it’s one of the first things people say when they experience it in the flesh.

@@MorselsAndMotors it was easy to use. Next car I had was a Mk1 Fiesta, was a 950 popular plus in Blue with electric screen washer.

Ohhhhh no 🙈🙈. Thankfully the seals only slightly got disturbed, so the gearbox oil coming out was just a trickle
Wow is that fiesta really that good underneath ?.
I'm impressed by all that you have done .
Yep fiestas were always loud.
It really is!
Nicd video you should keep the car
He will keep the car, he wants too much on eBay

Oh I’ve never looked on Amazon for exhausts, I’ll have to remember that in future
