The greyhound hood ornament was also commonly seen on Lincolns.

This phenomenon of celebs wanting to be seen in and around a "regular" car has repeated itself a few times, probably most recently with the 2nd and 3rd gen Prius. Automakers sponsoring them is another thing entirely of course, as is stars having such a car to drive when they *don't* want to be seen or hanging on to one for sentimental reasons toward that particular car (like Christian Bale's Toyota pickup).

Let’s not forget Clyde Barrow, of Bonnie and Clyde fame, who wrote a letter to Ford praising the virtues of the Model A with the new V-8.
Got away with a lot of loot driving the Ford.

Jimmy Rogers' car is a 1930 not 1929. Look att the cowl...

Thanks for taking the time to comment. The car is a '29 that has been heavily customized. If you look closely at the photo you can see the stepped cowl transition; the so called "coupe pillar". The customization includes an aftermarket cowl band and non-Ford cowl lights.
Other tell-tale signs to date the car are the '29 bumpers, headlights, radiator shell, wheels, hood, and fenders.

This is horrible. Rule #1 for any presentation: don't show lots of verbiage on the screen and then proceed to talk over it. Members of your audience can either read what's on the screen, or listen to you talking. Never both.
