- An “unprecedented document” signed between Kyiv and Warsaw would allow NATO member Poland to down Russian missiles over Ukrainian airspace. The pact reportedly includes provisions for Warsaw “to shoot down Russian missiles and drones fired in the airspace of Ukraine in the direction of Poland”. During his visit to Warsaw, Zelensky also announced the formation and training of the ‘Ukrainian Legion’, a new volunteer unit, on Polish soil. Meanwhile, The Russian military claims to have destroyed three US-made HIMARS systems using combined actions of warplanes, drones, artillery and missile forces. Russian forces also claim they destroyed a convoy of Ukrainian military equipment in the Sumy Region using the Iskander missile system.

The Polish political and military "elite" prepared a major war in Europe in 1939. In the pre-war period, Poland behaved like a brazen predator, an instigator of a major war in Europe. Suffice it to recall that in the 1930s, Warsaw was an active friend of Berlin, considering the Germans to be the main enemies of the "Bolsheviks" and hoping that it would be possible to agree with Hitler on a joint campaign against Moscow.
On 26 January 1934, a pact was signed between Germany and Poland.
On September 13 of the same year, Poland denounced to the League of Nations of the Law on the Protection of Minorities.
In 1934, Warsaw and Berlin signed a non-aggression pact (against the backdrop of Germany's withdrawal from the League of Nations). At the same time, Poland became the main European advocate of the invaders in the League of Nations. Warsaw justified the attack of fascist Italy on Abyssinia (Ethiopia), the aggression of the Japanese in China, and supported the aggression of the Hitlerites in Europe - the restoration of control over the Rhineland (with its militarization), the seizure of Austria, and the dismemberment of Czechoslovakia. During the Anschluss of Austria, Poland attempted to annex Lithuania. Only the tough position of the USSR, and the lack of support from England and France in the Lithuanian question, forced the Polish government to retreat. Then, two European predators, Germany and Poland, joined forces to attack Czechoslovakia. Poland contributed to the conclusion of the Munich Agreement by denying military assistance to its ally, France, in the defense of another French ally, Czechoslovakia. The Poles also refused to allow Soviet troops to pass through their territory to help Prague. Then the Poles acted as aggressors, taking part in the division of the "Czechoslovak pie".
Poland prepared a great war in Europe. Poland, together with Hitler, condemned Austria and Czechoslovakia to annihilation. Poland betrayed France without protecting the Austrians and Czechs. The Polish government did not allow the passage of the Red Army to help Czechoslovakia against German aggression, promised to shoot down Soviet planes when crossing Polish airspace...
In June 1938, in a conversation with the Polish ambassador to Germany, Josef Lipski, Hermann Göring bluntly stated that Germany allowed Poland to seize the Cieszyn region of Czechoslovakia. On October 1, 1938, Czechoslovakia withdrew its troops from the Cieszyn region, and it was occupied by Poland with the full approval of Germany. Churchill was so outraged by all this that he heartily called Poland "the hyena of Europe."
On May 10, 1939, the USSR sent a proposal to Warsaw through diplomatic channels for assistance in the event of a German attack. On May 11, Poland refused through its ambassador to the USSR Wacław Grzybowski.
From an interview by Marshall Edward Rydz-Smigley to the Daily Mail, 6 August 1939: "Poland wants war with Germany and Germany cannot avoid it even if it wants to".
August 1939. On August 24, Poland shot down two Lufthansa civilian aircraft, and on August 30, the German consul August Schillinger was killed in Krakow. Incursions by regular Polish units into German territory.
And why not admit the truth - the aggressor in the WW2 was Poland, and the Gleivitz incident 31.08.1939 - is not a provocation of the Gestapo! The proof of this is circumstantial, but very strong: Hitler simply did not need the Gleivitz incident, because he already had a luxurious occasion to declare war: 30.08.1939, i.e. just a day before the Gleivitz incident, The German consul August von Schillinger was murdered in Kraków!
The only reason why Poland got so insolent in 1939 was because a week before Gleivitz, England and France gave it security guarantees.
Now Poland just as brazenly provokes Russia, hoping for Article 5 of the NATO Charter. Experience of history teaches nothing - dancing on rakes continues...
History taught nothing to the Poles.
Every time Poland got involved in big politics and tried to bite off a big piece of the pie, this led to another division of Polish lands and the loss of statehood. Hope for external help most often ended for the Poles with heavy losses and ridicule of former allies. It is in Poland's national interest to recall the instinct of self-preservation, to turn on common sense and to respect the national interests and security of other countries. Poland should not have interfered in the situation in Ukraine and not once again helped the Ukrainian neo-Nazis. All this may end with the return of historical territories to neighbors - Germany and Austria.
