    is thai basil and holy basil the same thing? They don't have holy basil where I live.

    • @ElissaKitchen
      @ElissaKitchen  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it's different. Holy basil has a sweeter and stronger smell.

      Some people call them chilies and some people call them peppers. I thought they were all the same. I'm just curious. Please let me know if you have the answer. Thanks a lot.

      If you please :) pepper is black and it is grown in our country, Cambodia, we call ម្រេច. And chilly is red and can be grown anywhere on earth, we call ម្ទេស. Finally, I'd like to say that I love all your videos, they give me more knowledge about cooking. Thanks!! ^^

      Sereyphoas Sowath Pepper is the general name. Small black color pepper is called “black pepper” and long fruit like peppers are called “chilli peppers” .. but in various parts of the world they call differently. In India black pepper is called “pepper” and chilli peppers are called “chillies”. But the general name is pepper in English😊 Hope you understand!

      I think In some countries they call it chilly pepper :), or maybe I’m wrong lol oh well, I love Elisa video, it’s easy to follow :)

    That's a lot of oil I think is too much

    • @ElissaKitchen
      @ElissaKitchen  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need the oil to make the chicken crispy otherwise your cha kreung will be soggy and wet. You can try it both way to find out which one you like better.
