It is marked by a new interior concept featuring a touchscreen display measuring up to 12.9 inches, a gearshift lever on the steering column, manual and digital controls and a tidy, well-organised centre console
ŠKODA SMART DİALS
Push-buttons with digital displays allow quick access to numerous vehicle functions. The two outer Smart Dials for the driver and front passenger control the interior temperature, seat heating, and seat ventilation, displaying the currently active function. The centre Smart Dial controls up to four different functions, such as the infotainment volume, fan speed, air direction, smart air conditioning, driving modes, and map zoom
SUSTAİNABLE MATERİALS
You can opt for the interior Design Selections - Loft, Lounge, or ecoSuite in Black or Cognac, with textiles crafted from 100% recycled polyester. The leather in the ecoSuite benefits from an eco-friendly tanning process using coffee bean processing residues
ENGİNE, SAFETY AND TECHNOLOGY
The engine roster includes two petrol and two diesel engines ranging from 110 kW (150 hp) to 150 kW (204 hp) as well as a plug-in hybrid version - a first for the Kodiaq. This offers an electric range of more than 100 kilometres
Two versions come with all-wheel drive, and all new Kodiaq models are equipped with DSG automatic transmission as standard. The 1.5 TSI with mild-hybrid technology also comes with latest-generation active cylinder technology (ACT+)
The safety equipment is boasting second-generation full LED Matrix headlights and advanced assistance systems, such as Emergency Assist and Traffic Jam Assist. Remote Park Assist allows the SUV to be manoeuvred into tight parking spaces from outside the vehicle using a smartphone app
Simply Clever features: A fresh storage compartment with a cup holder in the rear, a Phone Box providing cooling and charging for two mobile phones and ergo seats with a pneumatic massage function

RİGOROUS TESTS UNDER EXTREME CONDİTİONS
The new generations of Škoda’s Superb and Kodiaq model series have successfully completed an intensive international test programme. Over a period of two years, they covered more than a million kilometres. The test drives exposed the cars to temperatures of -30 °C as well as almost 50 °C in the Arizona desert
Moreover, Škoda Auto had them towing trailers on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and tested various charging infrastructures. With numerous additional endurance and material assessments on test rigs and in the laboratory, Škoda simulates 40 years of real-world vehicle use
TESTİNG İN THE ARCTİC CİRCLE
The new generations of Škoda’s Superb and Kodiaq models have successfully passed intensive cold testing in the Arctic Circle. The vehicles’ functions, quality and durability were assessed in temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees Celsius
The main focus of these tests was on driving stability, passenger comfort in icy conditions and overall reliability during long winter journeys. In addition, the vehicles had to withstand the extra weight of ice and snow. Every part of the test vehicles was scrutinised: chassis, body, engine, heating, and the entire electrical system
PREPARATİONS İN FULL SWİNG
Škoda Auto is investing 12 million euros in converting the production line in Kvasiny to also take account of future requirements, with the line already being prepared to produce the Kodiaq iV with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain
The first pilot production vehicles are already being produced, while series production will commence in 2024. Up to 410 second-generation Kodiaqs should then roll off the assembly line every day
