Argon purged means it won't fog on the inside. It's a dense gas that doesn't transfer energy well. Not that the exterior won't fog. The outside is subject to atmospheric conditions.
This thing was amazing. I brought the new angled version that I got sent to me from vortex to my elk trip in Utah and it was almost too much to use for some closer distances but came in perfect for medium to far range. It’s the perfect in between scope for all around glassing. I didn’t have issues with brightness at all.
@@FieldToTableOutdoors I use a minolta 9x26 that cost around 160$ and i think the view is cool, but also considering to get this viper hd 15-45x65. Will there be a really big difference zoom wise? How drastic would it be?
Dude, I can relate to your enthusiasm and what you said about reading the box. But seriously: didn't you notice that the box said "angled" but inside there is a straight scope? If it was me, I would have freaked out (like I did when you didn't notice) 🙂
Vortex got me the right one within 2 days of me contacting them to let them know. If it was almost any other company I would have freaked. But it’s legit. I was so excited I didn’t notice at first and then had to just keep on going with the video 😂

I was just so excited to get it I didn’t even realize it wasn’t the angled one. I’ll have to contact vortex and ask them to do a return. Either way, this thing is pretty sweet. At the range it did a great job

Looks cool, can you see a long way with this? And is the brightness JUST enough?

You will see a night and day difference in zoom, clarity, lighting, and comfort I’d say too.
