I like how different their tier list is. But AOT at B I feel like is crazy lmao. But I get it to an extent. Sometimes if it doesn't speak to you, it won't matter if it's really good.
JJK is the reason why I love shonen now, the manga is amazing. Every character is so well done even if they are evil and hate them you love their character. The power system is definitely like HxH which I love. I did like chainsaw man but some of the characters I didn’t find interesting and the villains, the story and the power system is okay but that’s my personal preference and AOT I just stopped caring which is sad because the anime started off amazing.
Jujutsu kaisen is such a complicated manga that you can read it for the 4th time and you will find something new That's why it's so fun to read because whenever you think something is new it probably has been done before.
To be honest, I’m not the hugest fan of jjk. Not that it’s bad for me, but it just has a lot of stuff I kind of like and stuff I kind of dislike. The show as a whole has yet to grab me Like others
JJK makes a lot of stuff on the spot though when it feels convenient, and that Yuji death scene in S1 was just cheap shock value and would honestly be a plothole.
OVA = original version animation or original animation video. Its sometimes a test or pitch video/episode for studios, to convince them to make a new season of the show but most times it is just an episode or a series of episodes meant for home release, like DVD blu ray formats and stuff like that. Basically the Japanese version of Direct to video, like the disney sequels but better and more frequent.
If you want suggestions on what to watch, Link Click season 2 just started. It's a donghua (Chinese animation), season 1 aired in 2021, 11 episodes and one special.
i feel that the full bringer arc in bleach wasn't as bad as most say it is. the arc is focused on ichigo as a character having to come to terms with not being able to do anymore of the fighting but once he sees uryu in the hospital he goes to the shady group of people to try and gain strength to fight again. and then tsukishima gets to all of his friends and family alters there memories and this breaks ichigo. then to further twist the knife the powers he was working for the whole arc get stolen by the last people he thought he could trust. then getting stabbed by what he thinks is his dad and urahara fully breaking him until he sees it's actually rukia granting him his powers again. also the reasoning for ginjo's hate for the soul society was valid, they didn't trust him, spyed on him, and try to assassinate him and the other fullbringers.
I have this i guess headcanon that Toji was there listening to Geto and Riko talk the whole time and he heard everything about them not making her merge with Tengen only to shoot her at the point when it would hurt Geto the most. Cause thats just the type of person Toji is 😂
Honestly though, I can see it. They wouldn't know because they rely too much on their cursed energy sensing (which he doesn't have) so to them it feels like it's just them there. It's SO something Toji would do.

Yeah for most of these Shonen I only have read the manga, so my list is so much different, but I do have Hunter x Hunter for S Tier, but I would also have Dragon Ball and One Piece in S. The most overrated anime is Death Note, not Attack on Titan. Attack on Titan’s best part is the last half of it starting with the return to Shinangishina up to the current part of the anime. I mean considering if there’s no action or it’s a slice of life, then Danny doesn’t like it I’m not surprised. I mean you don’t like My Neighbor Totoro. For OVAs they are pretty much direct to video animations, but with better animation compared to tv anime as the revenue is direct to the animation studio and it allowed for more creative freedom, but generally with less episodes.
Like click took me by surprise. Season two is running this season, but season one will only take one night out of your life and it's worth every minute.
49:41 I'm jumping in to this podcast kind of late to the game so idk if you guys are for or against manwha/Chinese anime but I'm desperate to get somebody else to watch Link Click. season 2 just came out this month (s1 is your typical 11 eps) and its already fantastic. it's about 2 guys who help people using personal photographs. a client will give them a photo and then one of the 2 can go back in time and possess the person who took that photo for 12 hours in the past while the other guys guides him through the timeline to make sure he doesn't accidentally change the future. it's a thriller/mystery with gorgeous animation and a really gripping plot and it deserves so much more attention.

What are you talking about? Naruto fights are way easier to follow than One Piece. But for best action in manga it’s by far Dragon Ball, but for some reason people are anime only for Dragon Ball. I actually find that most battle manga have good action. There’s a reason why they are popular, and most manga are better than the anime. The problem is that a lot of people speed read and don’t take their time to read the fights, then complain that it’s hard because they aren’t paying attention. Also I’ve gotten goosebumps reading manga as much as I do anime. I consider the mediums on par with each other with their own strengths, so I might have a different perspective

To keep it there for functionality but make it better visually, I would use a brush cable pass-through. There are other ways, but that would be a cheap easy solution.

Also erza literally saying she broke every bone in her body yet she somehow launched herself into the air and cut a meteor in half 😂 That entire anime is a master class in bad writing and more bullshit plot armor than every manga ever created combined

I was disappointed the tier list didn't include Busou Renkin, though I doubt either of you have seen it. It's a Shonen Jump battle anime with a fantastic power system and a few AMAZING characters. Total Weeb Commander stuff, if it were remotely popular and not so old. I mean it's not even that old, but anime comes at a faster clip than ever nowadays.
