Im thinking this could be nice to use with Nicholas Lawrences' Bangarang Gimmick. Just need to decide where to invite it. Thanks for sharing Matt! Been a follower of your Bangers for about 6 months and there are more than a few awesome effects ill definitely use. 💯🔥
Thanks a lot for sharing all these beautiful tricks! Also, your trick presentations are the best I've seen on youtube. Merry Christmas and all the best :)
Another banger. I can't say how much your channel have helped me to bring smiles on the people around me. It's such a bliss seeing them in disbelief. God bless you Matt. And Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas young man... What an infectious smile! I've said it before amazing genuine enthusiasm. If you had the worst trick in the world I would still watch the video because of the way you present with an obvious love of what you do.
Love the trick it inspired me to do it with a blank deck . Added a little set up just forcing there choice with thr hindo force then continuing as you did I think it will add a good second surprise when you fan the rest of the deck face up
Love this one, Matt. Love your enthusiasm as well. Thanks for sharing this but what do you do if they choose one of the red jacks? I suppose you go with the black ones or another pair.
Nice sandwhich alternative. Only glitch if using the shuffle "find the jack" is if it's only a few cards from the faceup front when you start going through it. But you could work around that
Wow, now I'm a magician except I forget each time what card is selected. My memory is focused on the trick itself with shuffles and cutting so i can't remember the selected card, but I know I don't have when it comes to actually using another person. A perfect trick for me anyway, thanks Guru!
Happy Holidays. Cool outfit! For some reason, it’s hard for me to perform tricks which include finger breaks. I found your channel earlier this year and I am so happy that I did. I look forward to seeing more of your awesome card tricks in 2025. I wish you much success and happiness. Manny
You can also glimpse the bottom card after the shuffle - then you don't need to look through the cards before their card is returned. Then just use the glimpsed card and its mate as your "elves".
You’ll know immediately because of the key, the two jacks will be together. Cut the cards so your key is on the bottom and their card is on top. Then remove the kings and use those as the elves/detectives instead. 👍
Very easy and nice version. Maybe I would prefer to take the jacks out first and introduce them as the two detectives and use a controll for the criminal card...
Great trick! But I will modify it to immediately control their selected card to the top, instead of the hoop of controlling the Jack to the bottom in order to move their card to the top. Then there's zero preparation.
I was intrigued by the title when it said that there was no setup. Started watching, and then you said it too. No setup you said and even added, no slight of hand. You showed the trick and it looked good but then you explained how it works. First setup the pack... It maybe just one card but this is setting up the pack. Then as you explain more, you control the deck with some slight of hand. Why say no setup and no slight of hand when you do both? I'm not taking away that it's a cool trick, just that it's false information.
@@iapetus2k2come on man. Mixing cards turning them around to put the jacks in place is no set up? and a way obvious one. But that’s nothing really after you actually need a sleight of hand to cut break with your pinky and quickly ..etc etc. I’m the confused one. For me that’s what sleight of hand is.

Too kind Roman, thanks so much mate 👍

Epic 🔥🔥🔥
Awesome beginners track trick. Thanks, mate, for all your card tricks and tutorials and Merry Christmas. I hope you have a good one.
You too buddy, merry Christmas!

Many thanks for the tutorial.
I have been a magician for over 25 years and this trick is very refreshing.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks Mark, I love the construction of this for some reason, it just flows beautifully. 👍
Viewing from Western Australia where it is 44 degrees Celsius today! No Christmas jumpers here😂 Thanks for sharing the trip mate. Happy Christmas.
Have a good one!!
Love this one, Matt. Love your enthusiasm as well. Thanks for sharing this but what do you do if they choose one of the red jacks? I suppose you go with the black ones or another pair.
Exactly! 👍
What a great Christmas gift, dang it I didn't get you anything. Will be doing this at Crimbo lunch, Happy Christmas to you and yours.
Thanks Gareth, Merry Christmas!

Absolutely 💯
I love it
Never stop posting this type of gold😮😮😮
Awesome trick. Question, what do you like to do if they actually pick the jack of diamonds as their selection?
Classic sandwich 🥪 routine 🎉 A+
Thanks Darren! Merry Christmas buddy!
@MattMcGurk Merry Christmas Matt to you and your family 🎅 🎄
I❤ this trick. It is cracking. Happy Christmas.👏👏👏🏆👏👏👏
You could say it’s a Christmas Cracker!
What a marvelous idea to introduce the red jacks as Christmas elves 😇. Many thanks for this golden trick and a happy Christmas to you Matt 🎉
It was actually was my wife’s idea but yes I’ll take full credit 😂
Merry Christmas, Matt!
Merry Christmas!!!! 🎄
You are always the best, Merry Christmas Matt, and may 2025 be exceptionally good to you !!

Merry Christmas!! 🎄
I love your performance and your amazing tutorial.can you teach us the triumph self.working card trick? Thanks in advance.
I taught a double triumph last week, sis you see it? I have a great single card self working triumph, is that what you’d like?
Wow, now I'm a magician except I forget each time what card is selected. My memory is focused on the trick itself with shuffles and cutting so i can't remember the selected card, but I know I don't have when it comes to actually using another person. A perfect trick for me anyway, thanks Guru!
Anytime Kevin!
j'adore!
Merci ❤️

How do you do it? What am I missing
Didn’t work for me after following the trick ?
he LLLLIIIIIEEEEDDDD!!!!!! it isn't no slight of hand. good tho
What if they pick out the other jack as there selection??
You’ll know immediately because of the key, the two jacks will be together. Cut the cards so your key is on the bottom and their card is on top. Then remove the kings and use those as the elves/detectives instead. 👍
Very easy and nice version. Maybe I would prefer to take the jacks out first and introduce them as the two detectives and use a controll for the criminal card...
Great option, go for it!
Great trick! But I will modify it to immediately control their selected card to the top, instead of the hoop of controlling the Jack to the bottom in order to move their card to the top. Then there's zero preparation.
Just making it accessible for beginners. Top control is the way to go.
@@MattMcGurk One can simply peek the bottom card after the spectator shuffle and use it as key card. :)
Mad any suggesting to get rid of skill
you redefine the term “self working” to mean just a bit of slight of hand, lol
In this case yes 😂
Good show but I get confused when I learn too many variations of the same trick. I'll stick with the detectives I learned from you(I think)
As long as you’re using one of mine I’m happy! 😂

This is too hard
Another magic trick video that requires no setup and no sleight of hand which you need to setup first and perform a sleight of hand at the end…
I'm confused; where's the setup?
