Cracking easy trick, I am a total novice family card trick Dad. I added a 'free choice' elimination pick to reveal those pesky Ace's which went down really nicely on Boxing Day. Thank you
I like easy tricks, especially when they are quick. I put a small mark on the backs of the 4 Aces, that way I know which pile the Aces are in and I pick up the piles without the Aces in any order always leaving the Ace pile for last. This also eliminates looking at any cards during the trick.
@@jamesreschke3402 This is a great idea! That makes things even easier at the end and eliminates the awkward looking at the pile before revealing what you have
There is a better version of this trick where you use 4 lots of the same cards. For example 4 A's, 4K's, 4Q's and J's. The only thing is i can never remember the patter/story that went with it. But it was along the lines of how all the Aces live together, all the kings live together and so on. You start by removing all the participating cards from teh deck and place the deck in the center of the table. You set out 4 piles in four corners, each pile is A,K,Q,J. Like i say i can't remember the story that went with the trick, but it was something like how all the aces live together.... (as mentioned before). But they have forgotten their way home and we need to help them get home. You then turn each pile over, then pick up one pile and place it on the next, pick up all those carde and place on the next and so on until you have one pile. You then cut the piles like you did, but going from corner to corner. So imagine the rest of the deck is in the center of a square and the cards you are using are going round to each corner of that square. So split to the first corner and put the rest on top. Keep doing this to all for corners until you are back where you started. You then pick up the deck and deal face down to the four corners in any chosen pattern (but you then must stick to that parttern for the rest of the dealing). Once all dealt, you turn over each pile and say how you have managed to get them all back to their homes. As it is self working a you know, you can say to the spectator (as they always think you manipulate the cards), how it is genuine magic and you had nothing to do with it. If they don't believe you that they can perform teh trick. You then give them the cards ensuring you don't touch them, and basically talk them through the steps as they handle the cards. When they see it turn out the same, they are even more amazed and baffled because they know they didn't manipulate the cards and it still worked. Hopefully that all made sense. I'm sure you could recreate you own story to work with the trick.
@FrikandelKaaskroket make sure you only cut and complete the cut. Don’t cut multiple piles all over the table. That will mess up the trick. then just deal the cards into 4 piles. One of those piles should have all 4 aces. hope this helps!
