Not much Game Freak can do, really. Sega still owns the IP to this very day. They re-released it on Nintendo Switch Online last year at least.

This and all games that Game Freak made before Pokémon are great. They could make even more games of this kind, but no they instead have to waste their existence in keeping the Pokémon franchise alive.
I'd rather play this game over and over again instead of having to even try out those abominations called Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

It's a good game, who cares what it resembles? All I see here is people calling it a clone, or a rip off of Mega man. Or Sonic, I mean for God sakes people. Give credit, where credit is due

Mega Man I'm not seeing but it does give you an Astro Boy theme somewhat but the overall design of the game is nothing like MM people also say sonic as well the only thing that I see on that is the same bold grfx as sonic but gameplay wise no not at all much love to this it's just screams SEGA MD/GEN 👍🏾👍🏾
