Buster's Hidden Treasure is one of the greatest 2D platformers ever in its own right - and Sonic 3 is my favourite game ever. I thought this game was lauded critically though. A better comparison to me would be Super Mario World but much faster and more challenging.
HOLY SHIT! That world two level music has been stuck in my brain for decades and I never realised where it came from! I often whistle it to myself and always thought "where did I get that tune anyway?". I found it!! Crazy how it stuck with me this long, I played this as a kid in the 90s!!
This was actually a really solid platformer, with excellent music to boot. Cousin of mine owned it, I played it a lot at his house. We'd always make a joke about Buster beating the shit out of Gogo Dodo after he leaped in at the end of a level.

There is one issue with the Genesis version, it feels a little too cookie cutter, and a lot of Genesis fans compare it to the Sonic games unfairly.

One of the very first sega games I've ever owned & played. My brother managed to finish the game when I never could. Love this show & still have some the soundtrack suck in my head.
We had fond memories playing this game on the Genesis back then. it was awesome and all. My favorite parts were the music that played in the levels, especially the fire level, this is like a Cartoon version of Hell, in humorous and hilarious ways.
I played this game and I watched the TV series. Tiny Toon Adventures won 7 Emmy Awards, that's quite of achievement and you gotta love Steven Spielberg, he did an amazing job. He deserved to be called an Icon
The game normally locks your controls for a moment so you can't push back to the wall you jumped off. But you can momentarily push away from the wall, which unlocks the controls instantly. So basically push the opposite direction from the wall for an instant (after you jump off), then you can push against the wall again.
That and The SNES Version of “Buster Busts’ Loose” are my favorites!!!! Hopefully “Acme All-Stars” will be next for Sega Genesis where I liked that one too.
I rented this in 1995 and I bought it in the Summer of that year and I played it a lot. I even had it downloaded on a laptop in 2010. It didn't seem very popular.
When I played this as a kid, I didn't even know that you can use screen clearing special move by pressing the button combination. I just thought that's just saved animals for score or smth.
One of the only games I beat as a kid. I LOVED it. And its a solid platformer too. There are a lot of difficult parts but theyre all do-able with practice.

Once youre used to the imperfect controls and slightly less polished gameplay, this game offers as much fun as any sonic or mario game in my opinion! It isnt amazingly complex or anything mindblowing, but the levels are really fun and thought out. The music rocks. Theres plenty of secrets, and plenty of challenge in the later game too!

My one issue I have with this game is because if this were a two-player game, or if you had the option to, you could've chosen between Buster or Babs or two players could play both. But convient-wise, the plot 'would' have Babs as one of the kidnapped characters.
Always hated how the gamesd always made Babs the "Damsel in distress" when she always was wilder and more violent than Buster in the show. All Tiny Toons games should have a 2 player options so you could play as her.

Really loved this one as a kid! One of the only things that annoyed me about it was why did they always have to say the character's full names? Like Plucky Duck and Buster Bunny. Why not just shorten them to Plucky and Buster? Especially in the conversations- it feels so unnatural
I just beat this game, so frustrating, I'll never play it again, there's so many moves that long play does that I could never figure out, multiple wall jumps on the same wall, tried for 30 mins straight, over and over, every button combination possible, couldn't do it, your jump is awkward, it's very quick and makes timing hard to jump on enemies, the boss levels were way easy for some reason, Its a strange game, I'm shocked it's a Konami game, it looks great, good music but the control is just so strange, it took me 3 hours to beat it and I still don't know how to control the darn rabbit lol.
