My list of the best luxury hotels in 1. Shangri-la le touessrok mauritius 2. The st regis mauritius (now a jw marriott property) 3. The oberoi mauritius 4. Four seasons mauritius 5. Lux* le morne resort 6. Shanti Maurice resort 7. One & only le saint géran 8. Constance prince maurice 9. Heritage le telfair 10. Anahita golf & resort
If I'm not mistaken, I believe Lux Belle Mare resort & Villas used to be called Beau Rivage I've stayed there on a number of occasions with the family, absolutely wonderful hotel.
Hello everyone..almost all hotels 🏨 in Mauritius 🦤 🇲🇺 are beautiful..they may provide different facilities..your choice will depend mostly on your budget..the good news is that once you are in Mauritius you can move around by car to visit all important sites and have access to all beaches 🏝 ⛱ since it's a small island..see you soon..
We also stayed before Shangri La ownership and just after it had been redeveloped Agree frangipane rooms were the better option However We found it overrated ,expensive and would need convincing to go again 369 portions were tiny 80 GBP for a bottle of pretty ordinary cote de rhone Stayed before that visit at an ordinary 4 star hotel on Mauritius and to be honest it was a better experience
@@colinshearring3934 we went before Shangri-la bought Le Tousserok over. We had an all inclusive option and food was great. Drinks were somewhat pricey however its expected. We had fun. Stayed for 8 nights and got a private cab to show us around certain parts of Mauritius. The staff were phenomenal especially those working in the restaurants.
Dear Best luxury stays, No beach is exclusive or private, According to the law of my country, they are all public and belongs to the Mauritians. Cordially yours, A Mauritian.
Hi Ingrid, I’m planning on visiting Mauritius for the first, as a native, which resort would you recommend? Something that is not going to break the bank but still luxurious. Also, recommandations for a great local restaurant with authentic Mauritian cuisine. Thanks in advance
Hey, all the hotels are cool but i think you forgot to talk about the "Lux le Morne" and "le Paradis Beachcomber" who are for me the best hotel of the island. But nice video 👌
That is actually standard in all the hotels. LOL. Not sure why they only mention it in some of the hotels. Probably did not have much other stuff to talk about LOL
Hi Moa! Unfortunately they do not accept U.S dollars in Mauritius. Their currency is MUR. Just take your own money and change to MUR in the arrivals hall at the airport, for a good rate. Thank you for the good question! We are happy to help you!
There are other hotels which are as good and well placed, such as: Trou Aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa La Pirogue, A Sun Resort, Mauritius Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa Sofitel Mauritius L'Imperial Resort & Spa Veranda Pointe Aux Biches Hotel Sugar Beach Mauritius Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel
Shitty French accent but nice infomercial! Ranking is completely messed up as well, but we all know how that kind of videos works ;) (and yes I have tested all those, many times...)

What do you think about lux grande gaube, because I’m coming to mauritius next month and I was wondering about that resort?
Unless they work in that industry colored locals are barred from entering the hotels.
I've stayed at Le Tousserok before it got bought over by Shangri-la. Absolutely stunning property. If you get a chance stay at the Frangipani.
We also stayed before Shangri La ownership and just after it had been redeveloped

As an hotelier i really think Oberoi should have make the list with honorable mention to heritage le telfair
So PROUD to be a mauritian

I am happy that I had the opportunity to stay in 2 hotels. Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury and LUX* Belle Mare Resort & Villas.
I stayed at the shangri-la le touessrok 2 years ago and it was incredible
This was great. It would have been even better if you included the average costs per night for each of the featured locations.
Le Tousserok is incredible. Son's wedding was there several years ago. Could not fault it in any way
Hey, all the hotels are cool but i think you forgot to talk about the "Lux le Morne" and "le Paradis Beachcomber" who are for me the best hotel of the island. But nice video 👌
Wow! 😲
Now we have a new one the Best of Best “ LUX GRAND BAIE “ 🇲🇺one of the biggest Hotel
vraimem
Was this hotel called Le Grand Gaube 23 years ago? I had my honeymoon there..

you went from # 8 St Regis and onto #6 Anantara Iko.
Really? Free wifi and flatscreen tv? Thats what we are concentrating on?
That is actually standard in all the hotels. LOL. Not sure why they only mention it in some of the hotels. Probably did not have much other stuff to talk about LOL
Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate it. We will definitely go more deeper than this next times!

@@glegeant Hi Gerard, Thank you for your comment! Okay that is great to hear!
♥️
I’m going to assume that Mauritius receives plenty of rain especially at this time of the year?
Yes that is right1 The rainy season starts in december all up to march. The best time to travel there is from may to december.
dude you missed the best ones yet...such as Le Paradis, Trou aux biches and Le Shandrani. those are definitely in the top 5
Thank you for our feedback! We think you are totally right there are so much more good ones! These are definitely coming back in the next ones!
La pirogue is the best
Where is number 7??
Hi Rudolf, Unfortunately number 7 had to be removed.
And how about Outrigger Beach hotel?
My dad work at tousrock
It's four seasons Hotels
There are other hotels which are as good and well placed, such as:
Trou Aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa
Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort
Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa
La Pirogue, A Sun Resort, Mauritius
Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa
Sofitel Mauritius L'Imperial Resort & Spa
Veranda Pointe Aux Biches Hotel
Sugar Beach Mauritius
Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel
The best Hotel is for me THE SUGAR BEACH A Sun Resort, Flic-en -FLAC Beach
Anantara Iko beachfront isn't giving that luxury vibes compared to Royal Palm
What about Shanti??? Better then Lux
