Hey Leute, ihr seit auf den Malediven mit einem endlos schönen Meer, warum braucht ihr dann noch einen Privatpool für JEDES einzelne Bongalow??! Rechnet mal das hoch, wie viel Pool's das pro Insel sind! Ein Gemeinschaftspool auf der Insel hätte es doch ggf auch getan! Heutzutage kann man etwas Einfluss nehmen auf solche Dinge. Auch wenn man auf die Malediven fliegt kann man auf einige Sachen achten und so mit beeinflussen! Mittlerweile gibt es auch andere Malediven Resorts Bewertungen wo die umweltfreundliche / nachhaltige Behandlung der Insel etc. mit bewertet werden! Desweiteren sollte der Preisleisungsfaktor mit bewertet werden! Aber scheiß auf die Umwelt und Nachhaltigkeit, hauptsache ich habe einen super Luxus Privat Pool, heißt hier in dem Video die Device!
Been a couple of times..All of the Maldives are Beautiful and all Staff 5 Star..the only difference is Food, Entertainment and Room size..Just come back from a New island called Joy Island From Cocoon..its ok more like Ibiza if the Maldives which is not what I expected and probably wont go back their due to the banging music but each to there own 👍🏻
what is the most important for you? Service? Snorkeling? Small/big island size? Big villa? Each resort is very different so I could help you more if you can tell me what you prefer :)
Serious 1st world problems but I could use some help! We are a party of 7 headed to the Maldives in 2024. Everyone else is leaning towards Soneva Jani because we could stay in one villa instead of split between two, the unlimited experiences package and I think maybe even the water slide. I actually am leaning towards the Four Seasons Landauu and staying in two 2 Bedroom villas. I know Soneva Jani is meant to be eco chic, but it feels a little shabby (1st world issues I know). For a group of 7, do you have an opinion? Is there a way to get an all inclusive price at the 4 Seasons? And what did one of the comments below mean when referring to "poor Soneva Jani, they should get rid of the weed reef"?

@@robertpaul615 Well we don't really have a budget. We're thinking about 10 days, what is the difference with the weather though. As long as it's warm and not that cold (a little bit of wind won't hurt) it's enough. We would really wamt some more help and advice!😊
Intercontinental would honestly not make it even in a top 30 best resorts in the Maldives video... I actually got nightmares because of this resort (not kidding ahaha). Fairmont is nice but lacks some key elements. Six senses and St Regis are great but well, not top 10 :)

We have not been and don't plan to. The architecture of the villas is really something that is not attracting at all to us. There are much nicer places :)
I thought the Velaa would be the 2nd at least instead of Anantara IMHO... I've never been to the Maldives, but they looked very classy, well designed and well maintained though. As an architect, my personal best would be the Hadahaa! There's a something about the modernity and microcosmic purity? in that resort. BTW, poor Soneva Jani. Why don't they completely eliminating that sea weeds field?

You dont need a town for this kinda resort. The only town in Maldives is Male and it's a shithole. What you need is a straight flight from Male to your hotel that's provided by the hotel itself. Paradise found
