Not true. The pharmacist will verify the number you are calling from to be from the doctor's office and if you are calling in a controlled medication, they will call back and ask to speak with the doctor for verification. This video is to help new medical assistants/techs with how to properly call in a prescription if their training did not include this task.

OutNProud500 you just spoof the doctors number and use some generic dea number for non controlled meds. I call my own meds all the time. Z packs antibiotics simple stuff. Been doing for years.

@@Mr2legit2quitt you don't need to bother with all that too get a z-pak. Just buy it from a Russian, Mexican or India pharmacy (like rupharma, freedom-pharmacy and many others). Only Canadian pharmacies demand prescriptions. Another option is going to Chewy.com or any fish store. They sell fish antibiotics. These manufactured for HUMANS, but sold to to open up the capsule and put in fish water. For some reason, people believe there is a massive fish manufacturing antibiotic facility. Nope, the pills are the exact same you get from your doctor and are from the extact same manufacturer. Fish-mox is amoxicillin. Chewy doesn't carry Z-paks but they carry penicillin and just about every other antibiotic there is..

I don’t think this should be here, especially if you’re going to talking about medical information. You don’t want to be violating HIP PA laws, I wouldn’t think. Please remove this video, only if you’re going to talk about prescription data with the pharmacist. Nobody else needs to know this but you and that person and your doctor.
