Very nice property and a very sweet owner, she would be a very nice friend. You can tell she has a lot of pride in her property and a very sweet personality.😃
Awesome property. The only thing I would change is to turn those horseshoes on the wall. It is said that if you mount them with the opening facing downward, all your luck will fall out.
My favorite part of spring in Kentucky is all the redbuds like the one at 5:25. I would ad a sink and toilet in the room next to the party shack. I'd also put boards that I could lower over the openings during winter.
Exactly what I was thinking. I can see that guests would gather for food and drinks. It’s also a great spot for entertainment but without toilet facilities it’s a bit of a hassle to go back to the house. Maybe you wouldn’t want people going into the house if they are enjoying their RVs or staying there in another capacity. Should you need more storage just expand the outdoor bar. Perfect 👍
Love your vids a bit long for my time frame but wondering if Im missing the pricing. I happen to be intrested for quite some time for a rural property near a cute lil town. thanks again for these vids there great .
@blakechesbro3602 - first 14 seconds. I have good news for you - the buyer fell out - this property is available as of today. Ken will know a bunch more about this property - call or text Ken 859-494-5521
Is that a real hill in the rear of the house or is it a LANDFILL. ?????? I WENT TO THE DETROIT AUTO SHOW AND THE HOTEL, WE STAYED AT LOOKED LIKE A MOUNTAIN until the morning then there was a bunch of bulldozers on TOP....and trucks dumping 😊..That's what it was a LANDFULL.......😮😢😮😅😊
@thomasbordi8726 - this ain't Detroit son. Can our Team jump on a 15-minute pre-buyer consult, so we can find out where you’re at? This isn’t a sales call - it’s literally about YOU - why you want to move to Kentucky? How much land do you need? Price point? How soon? This is the best way to get us to send you properties that match what YOU want. call or text Amanda (502) 517-9702 - you will love her - and she will connect you with the top suited Team Member for exactly what you are looking for.
Hi Crazy Critter Lady, you are right - there was so much going on, I forgot it -- but I do have pictures ---- here they are: bluegrassteam.com/lake-house-in-kentucky-cheap-land/
Hi David LAVOIE, a lot of people think that... the house yes, if you want it to look like this in 10, 20, 40 yrs - it will need to be stained and a board here or there replaced. But as far as the nature part of it -- nature will do nature. Mow the grass around the house weekly - like everyone else would. Mow the fields for hay 2-3 times a year (the local farmer will do that) - or plant wildflowers and/or plant trees or let it go back to trees. But the for the biggest part - the nature part, nature will grow bigger more beautiful trees. The dam is maintained by Soil Conservation and that's about all you need to do. a lawn mower - or someone to mow (like the owner does now) is all you would need to keep it pretty and manicured.
I bet that area is unbeatable during the fall because it's all hardwood forest so the leaves must look awesome. I would kill to have that I would think about a fishing dock , and having a mason to put in a chimney and fireplace as well for a back up heat source .possibly hire the Amish folks to build a barn. With stalls for though breeds. The name of the bar, the butt hut
Exceptional property ! Spring is my favorite as well. Looking forward to seeing kentucky Spring one day soon. New Mexico is dry and windy in Edgewood. Thanks for sharing brad. All the best to you and your family.
Beautiful property! I never considered leaving in Kentucky but from watching your videos Kentucky is definitely on my radar now! Love your videos! Keep up the greay work!
@joenava2679 - it just sold around 800k. We do have other properties - Can our Team jump on a 15-minute pre-buyer consult, so we can find out where you're at? Beautiful property.. just like I like it, lots of trees and few neighbors.. 😊 I expect it already sold, not that I could scare up the kind of money that would be worth.. but sure enjoyed seeing it.. 😊
Hi Pennie Newman, it is available. AND we have more properties --- if you’re seriously looking for a property - and want to talk to a Local Expert - and a warm, caring human, let’s get you on a call with Brandi, our Client Liaison - she is a doll and all she wants to do is help. Brandi will ask you a few questions - how many acres, how much, how soon --- and the most important question... what does your ideal place look like? That’s the best way to get us to start sending your properties that match what YOU want. And we will email them to you - text or call Brandi at 859-428-7714 - you will love Brandi.
If we could afford a place like this what you call a tiki bar would become a Steak Palace. Neither one of us drink but I really do like a good Steak. And if we had t I'm afraid we would want t live their, not rent or just vacation. The only Renting I would think about with it would maybe be a few RV spots to help pay the bills. That barn has potential for another house or Church building if someone decided to not use the campground.
We would love to have the place so we can celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles in the fall. People would come and they could fish there and do lots of other activities. We could hold Bible studies in that barn and call it a fellowship hall. So, so beautiful!!!!
I had a friend who was a missionary to the Philippines- and they had what they called a “ dirty kitchen” to keep the heat out of the main house to prep all the garden produce -
Before modern kitchens that vent, that was very common here too, especially in the south. My family's place, built in 1736 in New England had a separate "summer" kitchen.
Thank you for this...I have never seen so much beauty...Bob is amazing...oh the woodwork is choice class A ! Can you try to get better audio ...? We could barely hear...but we do loooove your videos....why on Earth would they want to sell this patch of heaven?
Hi Tracy Patton, Here is a lengthy (sorry) reply I give to folks who ask about storms, weather, etc. Hope you benefit from it: Couple things - 1st - we are nowhere near tornado alley - you can look that up. We do get some wind, but take a look at all those rickety tobacco barns on the tops of hills - they have been there 100 yrs - and still standing... Diagram here from Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tornado_Alley#/media/File:Tornado_Alley_Diagram.svg Secondly, July and August are our hottest months - in the 80s. But everything is air conditioned, so it is 60s in the morning and night - and 80s in the peak of the day. 3rd - we came from NJ 30 yrs ago - here we enjoy two things that I like: it stays lighter, later - 9:30, its still light out - because we are so close to the next time zone - we like that. 4th - we also enjoy about 3 extra weeks of spring - and 3 extra weeks of fall. Which equates to 6 weeks less winter for me - I'm happy. 5th - we also enjoy average of 3.55" of rain per month - which keeps the grass green and the lakes and reservoirs full. And wow, did I ever find something for you! the most comprehensive weather site I've ever been to - this weather info is for our Bluegrass Team office: weatherspark.com/y/15759/Average-Weather-in-Danville-Kentucky-United-States-Year-Round Lastly - a good, honest answer about snow…. Now some years, we get nothing. 2 times in the last 30 yrs I’ve been here, we’ve gotten 12” - but the average honest answer is: we get 2”-3”, 2-3 times per year and its gone in 2-3 days. if this all interests you - Get on our Exclusive Buyer's VIP list here, to know of new properties - BEFORE they hit the market - BluegrassTeam.com/homefinder - or of course just call or text 859-379-5263
This place is out of my wheelhouse, plus I'm about 800 miles away. However ,you guys are a riot and this place is stunning. I look at a lot of property and you guys do one of the best video and photo shoots I've seen, and I have seen a lot. If I ever move to Eastern Ky, which I have considered I will hit you guys up just for the party at the closing. Nice work guys.
Hi Eric Holdsworth, thank you for these super kind words!!! We would be glad to work for you - to help you get your dream. Remember, it doesn't cost you a dime - the seller pays us to help them. We can help you GET to your party. hahahha!
@Brad Simmons - can you do some videos about; 0% down w/ no PMI, first time home buyer grant & loan programs, and give us the skinny on what exactly the USDA grant program is & how to use it to get our dream home? I am looking for a home with acreage so i can transition my unofficial cat/kitten rescue to a full fledged legit non profit animal sanctuary/ juvenile rehabilitation facility.
i loved this place right up to when you showed the bathroom and there's a window in the shower. you could have weddings there. some type of venue. who mows the grass? i didnt see any tractors.
Hi TonydlP650, yeah, but its just that one person there. and as far as fish go, I would guess Catfish, Bluegill and Large mouth Bass. just jump on our Exclusive Buyer's VIP list here. Spring
Awesome property. The only thing I would change is to turn those horseshoes on the wall. It is said that if you mount them with the opening facing downward, all your luck will fall out.
Hi Jerry Bowen, I have heard that my whole life -- and one person told me, 'that's how the luck comes out'. All perspective right? I
My Irish mother always said open end up to catch your luck. Hence, the lucky horseshoe motif.
My favorite part of spring in Kentucky is all the redbuds like the one at 5:25. I would ad a sink and toilet in the room next to the party shack. I'd also put boards that I could lower over the openings during winter.
Hi Teresa C, agreed!
