    Thanks for keep reminding us to walk. I have lost over 12kg due to walking after my main meals. I Sleep well . No more bloating. I feel great and have more energy than before. People, please walk for better life

    I am 71.i have been walking for 9o minutes daily for last 20 years. Reduce ed 30 kgs .stopped all the medicine including BP medicine all my tests are fine.ifeel good.

    Thanks for the reminder and motivation Luke 👍went for a vacation recently ( a month ago) and since not able to resume my 13000-14000 steps again…..everyday I keep putting it off ! Not anymore, will start this evening itself 🎉

    They say 3 times 10mn per day is okay for walking, but in my case it would be stupid to walk less than 40mn in one go, because at about this moment hormones kick in and I feel wonderful. The days when I do not walk are the bad ones. the walks are always useful for something, picking up trash or removing rocks from the road, discovering animal paths, just exploring, enjoying the air, the green, the blue, it enhances sleep, focus, memory, walking fasted is also great to reduce visceral fat, on myself that works wonderfully. I work better and more on the days when I walk.

    Also what happens in the foot is AMAZING with blood pumping, and also be careful about the shoes and how you walk, the feeling of details of the ground under the foot is returning information to the brain from those hands we have on the ground, and this makes new part of the brain flourish and grow.

    In office you can walk for all the phone calls (those where you don't have to write), if you drink more water you'll have to walk to pee, make tea, re-heat the cold tea, sadly I am alone working in my large office so I have stations for different works I do, and so I get up and change desk for each task. I am more creative when talking over the phone when I walk.

    When stuck on a problem, go walk 10mn, usually upon return, the problem will be better understood and half solved.

    Is it ok to walk if someone is overweight? As someone told my sis not to walk as it will put adverse effects in her knees

    Dogs, young, energetic dogs are sufficient to get lots of rapid steps, especially if have really bad behaviors without enough exercise; all dogs need a walk, so adopt a dog & enjoy the walking companion.
