This was an awesome 60's Batman movie. Hearing Adam West say "This is an operating table and I'm the surgeon" and "Come on. Let's get nuts" was awesome.

The sequel "Batman Two-Face" with William Shatner playing Harvey Dent/Two Face was pretty good too. I could actually see Shatner play Two-Face back in the 1960s as every villain was basically a special guest star.
I enjoyed it but Shatner as Two-faced wasn't all that great to me though he was good. It was good to hear Adam West play the role one final time. R.I.P
There are comics based on batman 66 which had harley quinn and other modern villians and they even crossed over with lynda carter's wonder woman and the man from uncle and the avengers (not the marvel version) with john steed and emma pee, it would be cool if they did films based on them
The Batman+WW comic even did the movie's trick of including all three versions of Catwoman (and, continuing the joke from the series, treats them as all the same person with no explanation for why she looks different in each appearance).
@@clintbrew Apparently back in the 70’s when Wonder Woman was on they genuinely considered doing a crossover with Batman but of course all the props were gone by then and it would cost way to much to make new ones. I know a series 4 was planned with a new Network but by then the Batcave was gone and again would cost to much to rebuild but in this case the Batcave wasn’t needed as it would just a special episode or two but everything was gone by then
I loved this movie. Best line: "If there's one thing cats hate more than water it's the vacuum of space." Batman vs. Two-Face was a wonderful film, too, and a great send-off for Adam West.
It’s fascinating re-watching Batman 1966 right after watching The Batman 2022. They’re both incredibly different but yet poof equally valid interpretations of Batman.
I found that movie hilarious and refreshing break from the more serious Batman animated movies like em all, but this def was different and did bring me back to re-watching the 60s series, very funny stuff
Great review! I recently watched this movie with a friend who, like me, grew up on the original series. We both loved it and you hit every perfect note in your review. Thanks!
I love movies like this one just because you can tell that they put so much passion into it. DC Universe did a Blue Beetle ‘film’ that was similar and very enjoyable as well and showcased other more obscure DC characters. Two-Face would be another gem to see, and that being said; Begora !
I used to run home from school so I would be on time to watch reruns of the batman TV shows. It was my favorite then and still is now. For my 55th birthday, my daughter asked me what I wanted, i told her a CD collection of the complete Adam West series. She bought it for me. Its still a great series.
@2:47 -- to add to that theory, the whole reason that Miranda's show is named "Gotham Palace" is after a famous appearance by Adam West, both in and out of character as Batman, in an October 1966 broadcast of the TV show "Hollywood Palace". He did not sing "Miranda" during the broadcast, however (instead singing "Orange Colored Sky" and "The Summer Wind").
I abhor the title. This is not the most goofy Batman film, this is the most faithful Silver Age Batman film ever made. The one that made Adam West, Burt Ward, Julie Newmar, Cesar Romero, Frank Gorshin, Lee Meriwether, Burgess Meredith, Eartha Kitt and the others immortalized
LOVED this and the second one. ANY appearance of ADAM WE is ok by me. The "Three Catwomen?" bit killed me. And for Batman vs Two-face - it's the closest I'll ever get to seeing Adam West in a boxing match with William Shatner
I love this movie cause the series got me loving Batman at 5 years in 1989 watching the reruns I love we got Adam back for these movies even though the to-face one came out after he died cause it was released October 8th 2017 and Adam died June 9th 2017 but prior to his death he did complete his voice work on the movie and it was the last thing my all time favorite Batman did
Just watched this a few days ago on Adam West birthday. Loved how they brought in more modern Bat tropes like Batman's shadow looming over his fow before he himself appears. Pretty sure one or two of them resemble Lego Batman as well. Also he does the disappearing trope at least once. They also update the Bat cave to look like more modern iterations whole retaining the '66 look. There's also ironically some plot similarities with The Batman Who Laughs. The Batman '66 Who Laughed lol
My uncle who is over 60 year old is still huge Batman fan since a kid. He was very sad when adam passed away. I tell about him this movie he was very exited
Honestly there were a lot of highpoints in this movie but easily one of the things that had me laughing and smiling the most was hearing Batman and Catwoman's old ass voices hit on each other like young 20 somethings 🤣
Before Adam West passing seeing and hearing both he and Burt returned to reprise their iconic roles of Batman and Robin was truly magical. Took people back to the 1960's goofy Batman tv series with corny, cheesy dialogue and holy whatever. I like how they gave Commissioner Gordon a mustache this time like in the comics, animated, and live action. The voice actors for joker, penguin, riddler, chief 'o haira, alfred, and commissioner gordon sound closely like the original actors. Plus, get Julie Newmar back to voice her iconic role of Catwoman. In a way both Return of the Cape Cusaders and Batman vs Two Face were sequels to the 1966 Batman The Movie.
Some of the plots for the series were actually based off the comic book. Like the first episode where the Riddler sues Batman (they even used the same riddles,) and the first appearance of Joker (where he has his own utility belt,) they were both based off a story in the comics.
Please review the Two-Face movie. I found it on an airplane entertainment system. It was absolutely delightful and paid loving homage to the OG series.
I know I've talked about it before but I would really love to hear your thoughts on my favorite depiction of Spider-Man outside the comics which is the Spectacular Spider-Man series.
I didn't know there was another one before vs. Two-Face! That's one of my favorite Bat Man movies, glad to hear this one was good too. And YES, ABSOLUTELY REVIEW THAT ONE TOO.

Originally they were going to have Clint Eastwood play him but it never panned out
I enjoyed it but Shatner as Two-faced wasn't all that great to me though he was good. It was good to hear Adam West play the role one final time. R.I.P
@Will N They actually had John Astin playing the Riddler in one of the later Batman '66 episodes
I think I remember this one, where batman tracks down two face and eventually he falls into (spoilers) a vat if lava/ lethal liquid, right?
I'd love to see a full animated series of this.
I'd love to see his other current villains in this style

Batman vs Two Face is direct sequel and sadly Adam West's last go as the Bat and his last role altogether.
