- Friday at the festival was a blast! Moderated by Marianne Bennetti, I battle it out with one of my container design idols, Cindy Funes from Garden Revelry, for title of Container Design Queen!

They were both beautiful but what I didn’t like was when Cindy was given extra pieces towards the end and when Cindy was given another chance to bribe. But good job ladies.
I didn't realize we could bring extra bits until the end! But I didn't really care... I had my hands full with building the garden and doing a seminar. Maybe I can challenge her to a rematch! She's the BEST.
What kind of hellabore was in that pot. The name was not announced. Can you tell us what hellabore that is? Also you helped with both so you take credit for some of both you had a hand in it. Good job 😊
Oh my gosh… Cindy and I genuinely love each other. She’s great! The hellebore I used was from the ice n’ roses series. I can’t remember the variety though! ‘Dark Picotee’ and ‘Maddy Marble’ are two favs that look similar.
What fun you must of had. Gardeners are so much fun. Love the idea of having plants to go into the landscape later.
Oh absolutely! I never like to waste a plant. There is always a garden home for it to find!

I know! We had to be mindful of where the camera was positioned because of the crowd and were hoping it would pick up more of the big screen. Oh well. At least I know I'll be creating more container content for you all!

I'll see if I can pull it from a video. Keep in mind, we did these in 20 minutes... it was a whirlwind. I almost wonder if I should do a whole series of recipes for each season! I'm about to jump into spring containers.
