i believe that over a 2-3 years it may fade because of the places i ride from what i have seen on other atv's, but a wet sand, and clear coat should make it like new again if it does. it's been a few months so far, and still looks like the day i dipped it. so i'm very happy with how the products performed. in the future i will purchase my patterns from the same company i bought the sprays, and not from amazon.
your biggest mistake was the masking off half the project. There are plenty of people that show this, but it rarely turns out right. Try doing a hole piece in a larger tank than your tub and you'll be happier with the results.
Yeah, I know, it turned out alright, but surely would have been better than using the tub. I was a bit limited on space at my old place, and had a hard time finding a container large enough. It would have also turned a lot better had I used a white paint instead of black, as that messed the colors up as well. I wasn't overly happy with the final product, but was my first time, and I learned a lot from it. When I try it again, I will surely make a bigger effort to find a large enough container to dip in, and my new place has tons more room to work in as well.
i am planning on possibly doing the dash area, and helmet at some point once i can afford some more materials, and i find a large enough container to dip in.
🏆🏆😊👍🙏
Is that UV resistant?
Thanks for sharing
