Nice review! I went with Tusk beadlock rims & CST Sandblast tires on my Turbo S. I think I'm about $1200 in total. Looks awesome and drives amazing. The backend will still slide around on you...which makes it a lot of fun! 👍
Good test gentlemen. This mirrors the findings our crew has had on these set ups, we ride primarily at Sand Mountain, Nv. (when in the sand) and agree, if you don't want to lose a drag race and perhaps like to throw the car around the Sandcraft stuff is excellent, otherwise the SS360 is a good choice. One of the guys puts his SS360 fronts on backwards to loosen up the front end, he seems happy with that. We haven't bought the new HP rears yet so the question remains on those...
Fun video guys! Your findings and opinions are just exactly what I had in my thoughts from having read about these tires. I would LOVE to have a set of the System 3 SS360. Bonus points for the FARRRR less expensive tires being way tougher if you hit a rock or stick and they are less maintenance also. I just got home from riding in Sand Hollow with my sweetheart. She hadn’t been out there since we got our first RZR in February 2016. She’s still freaked out by dunes, but had a great time. She HATES being Off Camber! 😂😂Taking my cousin from Idaho to Coral Pink next week. Have fun in Moab-looking forward to that video. 👍👍😎
Late to this, but yea, if you really pay attention, the SS360s were faster and even manage to pull a win from behind. Suprised this comment didn't get more upvotes.
good review guys, i agree the system 3s are great all around dune paddle unless your a drag race kinda person. they work great on n/a machines too because they allow you to float and don't rob power.
Good video but the demon paddles you have are rated for 250-275 rear wheel horse power, you need talon paddles. system 3’s seem fast but a few things I would consider is do you really want to run 4wd at the dunes all the time? Seems like a lot more stress on everything especially the front differential.
Good call Brady. Being geared down and having that tuner, they ran really well, but you’re right that for full benefit, he needs more HP. 4wd seems to help a lot with handling but I can see why some guys would prefer 2wd. Thanks for watching man
Wouldn’t you rather have the option for 4 wheel traction, and use it if needed, than have no option at all? Had a car with them on Packard wheels riding with me this weekend and it ripped compared to my stock tires and another guys heavy pro armor paddles.
I have 2 seat big turbo x3. I run Skat-Trak/Sandcraft paddles. The sandcraft fronts are way better than bald tires with no rib at all. I switched to system3 fronts for the last trip this year and didn't notice a ton of difference. I will say a 2 seat car and a 4 have different needs when it comes to front tires. I think the system 3 fronts would benefit a 4 seater much more than a 2 seater. If you aren't someone who cares about drag racing or hill shooting then I think system 3s all around would be a great option.
just went out coos bay in my 2023 2 seat x3 ds RR to on the stock carnivores and it did great, went up everything and never gave me issues. only problem was it drank a lot more gas. its more of a trail machine and probably will only get to the dunes once or twice a year so I will probably just get some 30x10x14 ss360's all the way around (for rotation and limp home purposes) if only to save on gas. you can definitely have a great time at the dunes without paddles.
@@jakevawdrey9691 right. We usually try not to mess with clutching if we don’t have to. We gear down and that seems to do well for all around. I’ll look at RPMs next time and see what we’re hitting

comment 34: the way to really test the tires is your set up on left & his set up on right side then reverse it for other side by side bc it is very close neck a neck so only way to really tell is remove driver & diff between both toys.
Nice video. Not really a fair comparison due to the fact the car was way over paddled. I've heard good things about the system 3's on lower powered cars.
For something with more power and serious duning, you’d probably be happier with STU, Packard, Skat, or the new Tensor.. depending on his serious of a duner you are. These are still a great option, but maybe not the “best” for that
I have 30" ss360s on dwt El arco beadlocks xpt non s model. Run primarily oregon dunes. Would love for system 3 to make an hp in the 30" variety. Been a great tire they float so well. I myself am an old school quad guy never thought I'd have a sand machine without a vulcanized tire on it. But so far 👍👍 on the 360's
I like that you guys are not sand guys, I've been riding sand for 20 years... would have loved to see some side Hilling with the tires. But I've tried many setups and found the demon setup you had is plenty of traction and just funner. I dont have them but do have the skat traks with the rough buff fronts and love the ride
Nice review!

I'm really enjoying your channel and your instagram. I'm in the market for my first car and your information is really good. Keep it up!
Thanks!
Let us know if there are any specific vehicles you want to see more of on the channel to help you decide!
I love coral pink . Beautiful dunes and tralis in that area
thats true over here in glamis the big power can ams and rzrs are running the ss360 on the fronts and skat trak/sand crafts in the back.
For big power that seems like a great combo!
You can't beat a rear buffed and rigid deep scoop paddle like Skats!!!. Period!!! Especially in the big dunes!! Real Duners know!!

I’ve heard that “fronts on backwards” theory a few times now.. maybe have to give that a go
Loved the video guys. Would have been interesting to see how the DS340s faired in comparison.
the demons are rated 250 to 275 rear wheel hp so if your car doesn't have that you are over paddled
They were surprisingly close,. Crazy that they’re double the cost
I’ve got System 3 SS360 on my wildcat trail 30x10x14 are awesome in.snow here in Quebec winters
We have yet to test them snow wheeling, but really want to

System 3’s were seriously surprising. Luckily there aren’t many sticks or anything on the main dunes at Coral Pink
If you want rear 32" system 3 SS360's I'm selling the normal ones.
In the 1st drag race race up the hill the paddle RZR jump early off the line = disqualified …SS360 pulled him at the top regardless FTW 🙌

32” SS360’s on Packard V2 Superstars 😎🤘🏻🤙🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥 Winchester Bay

Yup, done it many times without paddles. The right paddle makes it work less and helps with steering (depending on the paddle or purpose)
I bought my system 3 because supposedly they work well in snow as well
We’ve heard the same! Excited to try them out next season
We run sand tires unlimited 1300 plus on the back and system 3 on front
What psi do you run the System 3’s?
We had 10
Awesome content. What rpm’s were you seeing
Thanks man. We will have to check they next time!
Shooting the hills. May need to adjust clutching from dunes to rocks

Quick question guys
what seats that you use in your rzr
I can’t find it anywhere.

How well does the Pedal Commander work? I use one on my F250 and love the improved pedal response.

It wasn't a true comparison unless Royce used his cheater gas pedal 🤣🤣😭

What doors are you guys running on the S's please?
Moto Armor doors 👌🏼

Agreed. The results would have been way different if you threw both options on a higher HP car. For stock turbo power, the SS are excellent
What brand seats are those?
Amped
With the ss360 paddles work well for the pro r in the dunes? Or would you reccomend a different paddle?

I have the system 3 SS360 HP and that make a huge difference.
They’re impressive and now I want to try the HP version

Agree. Nothing but skat trak on a quad!
@@OffCamberInd what is the 12% reduction u guys are running?
why do both RZR have a hear reduction?
Because we run 35” tires when not in the sand (which is 98% of the time for us)
What size (width) are the fronts???
I think standard for fronts is 9
@@OffCamberInd do u think it would be/look dum with 7in fron 11in rear.?
I ask because packard wishbone only come in 7and11
Nice comparison. You eliminated most every variable in order to see the true difference.
Thanks for watching. If these cars had bigger power, the pricey paddles would outperform, but at 168 hp, the system 3 are awesome
12 paddle tires are a over kill. Sxs needs to run 10 paddles, plus less stress on belts. System 3 are better for sand all around..
Tiny steering wheels are so you can still drive with handcuffs on!!! lol
😂😂😂
dead nuts even
Yup. For a machine with stock power, the extra money doesn’t pay off… with big power, it makes a difference
You ain't gonna win a drag race with 360s ? I ran against someone with only rear paddles and buffed fronts i beat them front paddles pull
There can be a lot of variables. SS360 are great for what they are, but you’re not gonna see them on big HP drag cars, they race in 2wd

@@jeanlestanguet6307 we will be getting more sand content and can definitely show some side hill action 👌🏼
A better comparison would do the hill with no run. What are you thinking?
Dont need HIGH DOLLAR tires
For a stock HP side by side the cheaper system 3 did great. For big power vehicles, there’s more of a need 👍🏼
In what WORLD are front buffs 3000$?? Nice click bait thumbnail
