Hi James, my respect goes out to you for these videos well done on the quality of them. What I would have to say is though would it be better to set more realistic goals? Making a WChampionships based on your current times would be more than very good going and were you are currently at, when do you want to achieve the WC spot? As you must be talking 2/3 years surely ? but to state a goal is to reach the Elite 15? That one i feel is out of reach and we have to be realistic mate. Elite 15 athlete’s are freaks of nature and are only going to get slightly faster. No matter what training most people do, it’s just not obtainable
Hey Steve, appreciate the feedback 🤝 Everyone can dream of reaching the Elite 15 even if it stays just that 😂 Even if I do fall short of that goal, which I agree is pretty far fetched and maybe out of reach, I'll still be a lot fitter than where I'm at now. Which is really the underlying goal of it all - get as fit as I possibly can. I'm just the type of person that needs a reason/goal to do something. To qualify for a WC I've never really considered a time line but definitely a year or two. Don't see why not with another 12-18 months of Hyrox focussed training and ensuring I don't get ill days before competing 😅
