Should just be the manual legacy gt stuff for proper fitment, but I'll Probably use master brake, clutch and slave from a newer sti. Would like to swap to sti brake booster as well, but I'm kind of going at all of those upgrades blindly and will know more as i get into it.

What does the 20G actually refer to? I just ordered a turbo after a few days of relentless research. No one can say what the G physically is on said turbo. Generic answer is “ya 20G better” but why.
It comes down to sizing. The "20g" in the turbo refers to the compressor wheel, similar to how you'll here of a .50 trim turbo. They refer to one aspect of the turbo itself as a moniker for the whole turbo. A G style compressor wheel has staggered blades which flow better at top end. The first number is size specified where the larger the number the larger the compressor wheel. Td04/5/6 refer to turbine wheel size, smaller to larger, 8cm/10cm hotside refer to turbine housing size. So they come down to power ranges. These numbers are normally abandoned outside of stock style drop in turbos, but there are a lot of aspects that go into things aside from the single aspect of the naming which is why it's always good to research and see what turbo will best suit your application.
