Hannah, nicely done as always. It was the perfect intro to a summer in London video. I know you said it was warm where you are, but trust me, you wouldn't want to be in Florida right now. With the humidity it's like a steam sauna. I would guess that your humidity is not so bad so I'll take a warm day in the U.K. anytime over south Florida. As always, loved the architecture, and the food stands made me hungry. You know that purple lamp for some reason made me think of harry potter. I guess it had that magical look to it. And hey, live a little Hannah. An occasional wine spritzer won't kill you. Keep up the good work. Your friend Mike.

summer festivals in London seem so much fun
Loved the video! It's been 12 days since I left London and I have been missing it everyday!! Your videos gave me so many places to visit while I was there(I think I averaged 5+ miles per day). Keep up the great work and I can't wait till I'm back in Blighty next spring.
Same here! What area did you stay at? We were in South Kensington by the Gloucester Road tube station which worked out really great for us. Did you do any of the Jubilee events? We went to the Trooping the Color and the Jubilee Picnic on Windsor Castle's Long Walk and the Superbloom at the Tower of London.

This vlog, Hannah, is a kind of cornucopia of visual delights! Including a weather challenged picnic, with friends, in the park! It's always a source of wonderment to see how creative and enterprising Londoners really are. I used to drink, but for some reason decided to stop one day and have never missed it since. Actually, I adore Hannah, the way in which you are master of your own domain. This was so much fun! What a fabulous wood panelled bookstore ..... and the enviable array of produce from the Cotswalds! That was fun! It's like that here in New England too - the saying is "Don't like the weather? Wait 5 minutes!" I would advise layers, and a very light raincoat for the UK. I took a raincoat to the UK in April/May, and never wore it, nor did I once have to open an umbrella, but I was thankful I threw in a cardigan at the last minute, as I needed to wear it under my jacket almost every day. You're doing very well to go 4 weeks without a drink - not sure I could , or would want to, but I supposed anything is possible! Thanks for another wander around!

Love seeing how all the places I just saw for Jubilee look weeks after! OMG, I live in Canada and thought our weather was unpredictable... you CANNOT trust the weather reports for London. It changes so fast! We stayed at an airbnb flat on Gloucester Place BTW. Great area. I so miss my walks through Regents Park.
Just love St. James Park and even more Marylebone High Street, Thank you for taking us there. So looking to London in September, once the weather cools down. Do you ever walk around the Chelsea Harbour or attend the Focus Design and design fair in London at Battersea. I understand that area now has outdoor cafes and restaurants. Had no idea that Marylebone has a Festival and again thank for that. Also used to attend the Summer Art Show at Royal Academy in June. Love Daunt Books and Cologne and Cotton is one of my favourite shops. Cannot believe the extreme head in London and no a/c in a lot of places and transit. Thanks again.

Hi, Hannah. I gave up drinking for a year, and social drinking I "grew up" on. I ordered cranberry juice with lime. No one knows it's not a mixed drink, and you feel better afterwards. Hope that inspires. :0)
When I was in London 5 yrs. ago, Mary Poppins was being filmed just to the right of Buckingham Palace. It was pretty cool to see. So much activity going on in London! My daughter and her family just got back from London, yesterday. Her teenagers loved all the fairs going on. Thanks for the tour!

Love your London vlogs Hannah! I was in London last weekend to watch the Rolling Stones in Hyde park (it was amazing) but I loved the London vibe visited loads of places we were there 3 Days in total and quickly fell in love with the city 🥰 I kept saying to my other half ooh Hannah goes here Hannah’s been there lol and found plenty of beautiful mews in belgravia absolutely stunning even went to fortnum and mason and bought lunch can’t wait to come back again at some point in the future thanks for sharing London with us xx

I was in London back in 2016 for 3 days before my cruise. I wish I could have stayed longer. I stayed at the Grosvenor hotel near BP. I was right in the center of everything but I was so overwhelmed trying to see as much as I can in 3 days. I hope to come back in the near future. Thank you for showing us the sights.

This Englishman has our weather well and truly sussed. If it rains, complain, If its hot, complain , if iti s neither still complain, because it could be better. So, yeah. Complain, at least you know you are going to :-) . Berry brothers, is a very interesting shop, very historic. The Jubilee lamppost is very striking, one of the few still powered by gas. On another point, did I read that Admiralty arch has a fancy dancy restaurant in the building, or have I got it wrapped around my neck? As for a dog. I'd love one too, but from experience, it's not a good thing for the dog if you live on your own, they love company. So , really, if you live on your Jack, then you really need two. They give each other company. Great Vlogs, keep it up.

@@HannahRicketts You are most welcome. Looks like I got the Admiralty Arch mixed up with "The Admiralty" a well known Pub/eatery near Trafalgar Sq. However, apparently the Arch is being converted into a Waldorf Astoria hotel , so it likely will soon have a restaurant. That's going to be a pricey venue, I'll bet :-)
