I LOVE how you're so honest! I wish more people were as honest. So many people at press events get drawn into the free booze before the actual experience, so are really floating before anything happens - although it would have been fun to see them trying to walk in a circle. I know it is really time consuming to create vlogs, but I for one absolutely devour yours. They are fun and slightly quirky (in the most amazing way), and incredibly informative. Pretty please don't take January off. I know it is only a week in, but your skin looks amazing! Hope you have a really brilliant week!
I used to work in marketing in the tourism sector and when you've seen heritage sites stories fantastically shown to their full historic value it's quite weird how badly Battersea lift has been done. D-Day Museum Portsmouth is fantastic! Quite an emotional visit. And your review made me smile. Thanks for being honest!
The reason for your success is that you are the real thing and you tell it exactly as it is. You use no tactics like the intensely nauseating clickbait. Your excellent narrative always flows and it isn't repetive. This experience excludes folk who need step free access, so I will never endorse it - thank you for highlighting this Hannah. Keep doing what you're doing💕
Even though the lift experience is overpriced like you say, it's still remarkable what they've done with the building as a whole. Will definitely try and visit when next in London 😊
Thank you Hannah for the honest review! This is exactly why I subscribe to your videos. You hit the nail on the head with the 'value for the money' statement. Nobody wants to walk away from an experience thinking they had been taken advantage of just because of the 'hype' around it.
I went at night and raining a few days before NYE 2023, not ideal but I made the most of my experience. I’m from the USA, I’m more critical of attractions in my home town, so I can appreciate Hannah’s perspective. She is also right, there are so many amazing and free attractions in London that are much more satisfying. Great review as always, Hannah’s channel inspired some of my visits while I was in town.
Thank you, Hannah, for being brutally honest about this tour. Step free access is top priority due to mobility issues. I have to agree not worth the money. Hope you post again soon, take care ❤️
Thank you for being so honest! Please don't change, any other TH-camr would have been invited to the press event and gushed about how amazing it was, even if it wasn't. Not enough transparency on TH-cam so thanks for standing apart and keeping it real x
Thank you for bringing up accessibility issues! There were a number of sections during the tour when I was thinking, "Oh! I wouldn't be able to do that!" You are 100% right: if you can't make a paid, public attraction fully accessible, don't do it at all. And for that price! Yikes. Love your honest review and very professional audit of the experience, especially the pre-show. Happy new year, Hannah!
I live abroad and probably will never be able to return to the UK, so your trip to Battersea Power Station (both vlogs) were amazing and of great interest. Like you I am disappointed that the cost for the lift is such a rip off but now you have made the trip - the rest of us can happily give it a miss! p.s. Love the sunshine in your voice and would not consider looking for another vlogger to follow. Thanks
Hi Hannah, thanks again for a great vlog. My hubby and I did lift 109 on 12th December (we paid £15 each). We only waited 15 minutes though after going through security which took less than a minute. The guy we had was brilliant. He explained more about the history and what the power station was used for and how the graphics represented the energy used. We weren't made to walk in circles either. 🤣 I agree with you about it not being a fully inclusive experience. We were in the lift 10 minutes which we didn't think was too bad. We both enjoyed it. We were lucky because it was snowing and London looked beautiful all covered in white.
So I'm guessing that going way off peak is the best option. It seems that you had to wait less and were given more time to enjoy the views because there weren't as many people. I'm jealous you got to see London in snow like that, it must have been stunning!
@dee7380 we did a morning slot which worked out great as it wasn't too busy. I'd go again but at night. It would be lovely to see London all lit up especially in December when they have Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. Like Hannah, I wouldn't pay over £15 though. That's pushing it!
Hannah keeps it real for those of us who only get the pleasure of traveling to London once a year or two. What to see, what to skip! If you're not subscribed, do it!!
I just checked the website they do have a wheelchair lift to skip the stairs which you need to book in advance. Thought your followers would like to know.
Thanks so much Hannah, this was very enlightening and appreciate your being so candid. I would have loved to go to Battersea power station but my legs dont work so well and stairs would be a problem. Walking round in a circle would also cause unnecessary discomfort. I love our heritage and being an engineer, Battersea is an iconic building and so pleased it has been put to use after so long being derelict.
Hannah - I think they need you to be their Director of Experience Events - your critique was absolutely spot on and if they had tried to make me walk round in that circle I would have sat on the floor in the middle in protest at being treated like a seven year old on a school trip and I laughed out loud when you called them out on it. Don't ever change as you say it how it is and that's what we love about you and why we keep watching your videos. Hope you get some international travel in this year - would love a Paris versus London vlog on which one is the best shopping experience. Hope you have a wonderful 2023 and congrats on the subscribers - nearly 100k wow - I started watching you when you had 1500 - wow success indeed and richly deserved.
Happy New Year Hannah!!! What a cool choice for your 1st vlog of the year. Battersea Power Station has a very nice architecture. I can imagine how challenging it was for all those skillful workers in the past to have such a huge power station build. Certainly the altitude and its height was one of the main difficulties. It is really an amazing construction and a very important landmark of London. Hannah. you made an excellent job showing us the Battersea Power Station. Thanks again!
In 2023 vlogs I would love to see the London open markets, public gardens, etc....but I also love seeing inside beautiful stores......I will just follow Hannah through London.....she does a great job!
Happy new year, Hannah, now that we have entered the 2023 zone! I hope you are well and taking very good care of yourself. To me, in a sense, you are in the transport field. Each time I view your Friday video, I feel as though I am being transported, with you, to a new and special place. Even the everyday is absolutely fascinating. It's always great to see you, Hannah. Have an excellent weekend and good luck in your search for new, insulated gloves. 😉
One thing I love about London is the architecture and its mix of old and new. I walk my dog daily and had to buy heated gloves. They work, however it's hard to do anything with them on...can barely hold onto the leash! 100% agree w/you about the accessibility of the lift - inexcusable in 2023. As a person w/vertigo, that pre-show would have sent me over!
Loved your honest critique after coming back down. Hopefully they will be open to improvements over time to make the experience more worthwhile. It is a bad day if a burger can’t salvage your day!! Thank you, as always, for your time and efforts in bringing these vlogs to us! Oh, and happy new year!! 😊
I love London, and am always keen to find new places to see and things to do when I get to visit. I really appreciate your detailed and honest reviews - so helpful, thanks!
Hannah!! You make me smile and you make me laugh! You are unabashedly honest and that's why everyone loves you! You are right when you say the cost is too much for what you get regarding the lift to the top of Battersea. There are better options! Keep on showing us your unique take on London!! We are here for it!!
Love your honesty. It is a bit expensive, but I think I'd like to try it anyway. But as a Londoner I can go anytime. I guess if you're on holiday you might wanna skip it.
I would love to go up the lift at Battersea station. I was rather surprised at the high cost. But as a tourist, I would probably do it once. It's disappointing that you're only up there for about 15 minutes, and then you have to go back down. I would much prefer if I could be left up there and I could spend as much time as I want... Very good video, and I really appreciate your candor... keep up the great work!
Great vlog Hannah & very transparent regarding the logistics, details & value associated with the Battersea Power station sightseeing tour! Also, you taught us a terrific new adjactive describing the weather..."Gloryish Day"...Ha, I love it! Hannah your vlogs are always a weekly highlight, & thx so much for all the effort that goes into each one! I hope you have a wonderful week, & Happy New Year!!!!
It sounds like you've given an honest review. As for tourists visiting, I can't imagine wanting to waste time in a short visit on this when there is way too much interesting places to visit. But, it does make for an interesting video on TH-cam Hannah, thanks.
Hi Hannah, thanks for taking us along. It was interesting to see. I appreciate you showing us what it is like. I also just want to say I am loving your hair darker! Lovely, it suits you! Wishing you all the best for 2023.
One of the reasons why I like watching your vlogs is that you don't beat around the bush about the experience and the value for money. Like everywhere the cost of living is ridiculous enough but to charge 20 pounds to go in a lift yes is a bit excessive. And if I do get to the UK I won't be on my list.
Happy New Year Hannah 🎉! Please don't excuse yourself for being honest as I feel the same way as you. As I was watching your vlog I kept thinking to myself "this is a lousy tour..... watching flashing images on the walls (very disturbing visually) and walking in circles like kindergarten children 🤦"!! It is what it is 4/10!!
Thats where the Dog and Cat rescue is. Ive enjoyed the programme from time to time. I think you have comedic skills Hannah. There is always a little laugh in your videos :).
I think it would be nice Hannah if you took a walk around Hampstead, concentrating on the high street and streets just off it, and gave us your observations.
Hi Hannah, I love your honest review, I also don't think that it's worth that much. Glad the weather was good and there were good views. It really is great to see they kept some of the old features, looks great with the new. Yes that vehicle hanging on cables is a bit disconcerting, would give you a fright if you realized how it was hanging when you were standing under it. Thank you, really enjoyed the experience. Have a wonderful weekend! Take really good care, stay well! Lots of love Kathy x 💖
Love your honesty in this video and seeing other comments from people who have also been and also saying similar has saved me £20 and time I wouldn't get back. 👍
Hannah I love your honest reviews so refreshing. You do a fantastic job showing London at its best never lose your honesty, those invites should be flying your way xxx Happy New Year hope it brings all you wish for xxxxx
Happy new year Hannah... Thank you for the review. My husband and i went to bps 2 weeks ago... The main reason was pink floyd album cover 🐖... And since my husband is an architect, he was mostly drawn to by frank gehry & norman foster's. He wanted to see how the bps redevelopment project turns out. We were hoping to buy some souvenirs (we're kind of expecting it woukd be a souvenir shop at the mall...), but in fact we have to ride the 109 to get to it... Too pricey for us.....
Hannah I absolutely love your honesty! 👏🏼👏🏼I think you’re so genuine , knowledgeable and hysterically funny! I look forward to seeing your adventures every week!✨❤️✨ Happy New Year 🎊
Went to Battersea a week before Christmas and the decorations were pretty nice they have so much roof space so they can go all out with them and it was so much better loads quieter than when it opened, I feel like £15 to £20 for the lift is pretty expensive because you can go further down the river and go to Sky Garden and The Garden at 120 for free and get good views, the only thing about this one is that it's way down the west side of the river
Happy Saturday- Thanks Hannah - appreciate your humor and honesty. It’s always nice to see overall views of Beautiful London -Appreciate you going for the team 😊
Happy New Year, Hannah! I totally agree with you, this is 2023, there's no excuse for them not having a lift of a system for those of us who can't do stairs. I've got a really bad knee and two flights of stairs would wreck me, cane or no cane. Buuuut the view was lovely and you were even lovelier, and thank you for taking us along on this mini outing!
Great review Hanna. I agree it is not value for money at all much better options out there. At that price, by the time a group of 4 get there go up and buy anything from the shop you would be well north of £150. That is utter madness, can’t imagine the profits they are gouging out of the public. Will definitely give it a miss when we go shopping there. 😁
Thanks for your honest review Hannah. It's greatly appreciated. I agree with you about the lightshow. It looks too gimmicky and would give me a headache with all the flashing images and loud noise. It would be a nightmare for people with epilepsy. I think you would have found a pair of gloves in Uniqlo. That's where I got a pair at another branch this week. Let's have a year of Honest Hannah reviews for 2023, telling us how it really is, warts and all. That would be brilliant. 😂
Happy New Year, Hannah, from Western Australia. I can't imagine what 0 degrees feels like!! Thanks for another great look at the power station. The lift does seem like a bit of a tourist trap. Looking forward to your next vlog.
At last the first blog of 2023 ....from my absolute fav blog babe . Hope you had a nice festive period and found sound time for yourself. Well ... thanks to your very objective views I think I will give this tourist attraction a miss. I wasn't really convinced that it was all what is cracked up to be, and you confirmed my option. Anyway, thanks for you doing the best London blogs amidst some stiff competition. Just stay as authentic as you are and I will follow you forever...all the best and stay healthy...Greetings from North Germany...MT
Happy New Year Hannah 😊Thankyou for this one , how disappointing there’s not disabled access in this day and age ! This would have really interested me to visit, but I’m not great on my legs I need a wheelchair or crutches for a small walk but definitely not steps or walking around in a circle 😢.we’ve done the London eye and it was great 👍 😊
You asked about ideas for 2023 content; We really wish you'd tour little venice again, and primrose hill. Our favourites are your videos where you show the houses and mews and parks. Please do a video around Knightsbridge, and Eaton square sometime? Thank-you so much for sharing your adventures. ☺❤
Happy New Year Hannah! Thank you for all the wonderful videos last year. We had great fun roaming around London with you. I agree Lift 109 is too pricey for what it is - great to hear an honest opinion. Perhaps someone has already mentioned this, but there is a wheelchair lift available but you need to book in advance and space is very limited. As for ideas for 2023, have you ever covered the Royal Exchange or the Mercato Mayfair?
Very thorough video Hannah and I don't think I will be rushing there as you said they could have done more things to make it interesting.Great review as always and Hapy New Year!
Happy New Year Hannah Battersea Power station reminds me of Marmite (You either love it or hate it) I'm not too sure myself. Too be honest I wouldn't want to go up in the lift if they paid me £22.00 Look forward to your next stream Have a great weekend and week ahead 👍🏻👍🏻😁
I made sure I had my coffee and abit of chocolate all ready to watch,🤣,this was brilliant to watch, quite spacey, yeah probably worth $15 I reckon to,but great experience, thank u sooo much for taking us.much appreciated,.i was in London like 29 yrs ago just about to date,..so brings back very good memories...have a great day.🌎👋👋
Thanks for braving this attraction for us, and yeah, will be booking the Skygarden (again) when I'm next in London. Great views, great cocktails, and a great cheese board!
1:20 Happy New Year Hannah. I throughly enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for being so honest. You tell it like it is, being honest about things is the best. Hope to return to England this summer 💗
Thanks for taking us along! When you commented about walking in circles with strangers I nearly split out my tea. 🤣 I'm with you, for being so far removed from the main architectural landmarks of the city, I can't believe they can charge so much for 7 minutes (with a few flights of stairs!). This reminds me I haven't done the London eye since 2011, so will plan to do that again my next trip. For upcoming content, would you ever be inclined to have a go at Greenwich? It's also been ages since I've been there, but we went on a gorgeous spring day and fully enjoyed the ride down the Thames as well as the observatory and the lush park areas around it. Would love to find a proper vlog of it so I can refer my colleagues; they never seem to take me seriously that's a very solid spot to visit and wander as a tourist.
I went there about 2 weeks after it opened and the lift wasn't ready. But i thought that sounds like a cool experience. Thank you for saving me money in an already super expensive place. Great review.
Happy New Year Han. Wishing you health, happiness and, luck for 2023 and beyond. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and break. I'm looking forward to another year of vlog date's with you, you always seem to put a smile on my face and leave me feeling happy, so thank you. Xxx
Thank you for your honesty. I was in London in October and we were to go to the Battersea Power Station. Unfortunately a family member in London passed away. Anyway, I am glad we didn’t go now. Tons of other places to see. Happy New Year from 🇨🇦
Agree with you about the pre show. I kept wondering if that is what the trip to the afterlife is like if you haven’t lived a good life. Much prefer the other lift video where people were dropping their drinks and could stay up there for a long time. Cheers!
Within 5 mins of the video, Hannah, not impressed 😂 Thank you, was thinking of doing this....saved £20! Extra future beer money! For quark, the Crossness pumping station is quite fun. Seems similar to the Brighton 360 thing!
I LOVE how you're so honest! I wish more people were as honest. But there is a lift that bypasses the stairs. It does need booking in advance. Also the carer/wheelchair companion gets a complimentary ticket.

Your honesty, candor, and ability to laugh at yourself is refreshing. I love that you actually eat on these vlogs and give food reviews.

craziest lift I've been in is in the Luxor Hotel'Las Vegas, which is pyramid shaped and the lift goes up at 45 degrees!
In 2023 vlogs I would love to see the London open markets, public gardens, etc....but I also love seeing inside beautiful stores......I will just follow Hannah through London.....she does a great job!

Thank you, as always, for your time and efforts in bringing these vlogs to us! Oh, and happy new year!! 😊
Happy New Year, Hannah. Thank you again for all that you do to entertain us.
I love London, and am always keen to find new places to see and things to do when I get to visit. I really appreciate your detailed and honest reviews - so helpful, thanks!

Happy New Year Hannah - this was an excellent honest review, which I along with other potential London tourists will appreciate.
Happy New Year Hannah 🎉 Terrific vlog! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for 2023. 😀
Happy New Year Hannah 🎉! Please don't excuse yourself for being honest as I feel the same way as you. Life is short, record it. Interact. Thank you for doing just that. Your helping others with your experiences. Sharing life is life. Remember this.
Would love you to continue through January. Thanks for your great vlogs

Whew, really glad I watched this...Lift 109 is coming off my must-do list! Thank you for your honesty, Hannah!
I think it would be nice Hannah if you took a walk around Hampstead, concentrating on the high street and streets just off it, and gave us your observations.
I have a Hampstead vlog from last summer so might do one later in the year!
Yay it’s Friday glass of wine 🍷 and Hannah, happy new year Hannah to you and yours and all of us 🙏❤️🙏

Hi Hannah thank you for sharing this great vlog and experience. What a fabulous view of London
I agree with your comments about the lift. The rest of the area looks interesting! Thanks for your honesty!!

Thank you, Hannah! A little London for my day.
You are so genuine!! Thank you and keep up the good work!!
Thanks for the honest review Hannah. Makeup and nails looking gorgeous.🥰
Happy New Year, Hannah
Love your honesty, as usual.
Great to know that off peak prices make it worth it
Great review Hanna. I agree it is not value for money at all much better options out there. At that price, by the time a group of 4 get there go up and buy anything from the shop you would be well north of £150. That is utter madness, can’t imagine the profits they are gouging out of the public. Will definitely give it a miss when we go shopping there. 😁
Happy New Year Hannah! Can you vlog top 10 places to see in London for a tourist? ❤
watching from Vienna and love this London-feeling you give your viewers, so authentic. go on exactly like that! love M
Happy New Year, Hannah, from Western Australia. I can't imagine what 0 degrees feels like!! Thanks for another great look at the power station. The lift does seem like a bit of a tourist trap. Looking forward to your next vlog.
Hannah! You are a true English lady! Your videos are indescribably amazing. Thank you for such great videos..
Hope we continue to see you throughout January you cheer us up xxx
At last the first blog of 2023 ....from my absolute fav blog babe . Hope you had a nice festive period and found sound time for yourself. Well ... thanks to your very objective views I think I will give this tourist attraction a miss. I wasn't really convinced that it was all what is cracked up to be, and you confirmed my option. Anyway, thanks for you doing the best London blogs amidst some stiff competition. Just stay as authentic as you are and I will follow you forever...all the best and stay healthy...Greetings from North Germany...MT
Hi Hannah, nice vlog. Happy Friday and I hope you have a great weekend!
I wish I had watched this last week before I booked it for my boys. 😂😂😂 feel like I have been mugged. Thank you Hannah x
Oh sorry!!
Will do! Just need the rain to stop lol
Not yet but I’m sure I will at some point!
Very thorough video Hannah and I don't think I will be rushing there as you said they could have done more things to make it interesting.Great review as always and Hapy New Year!
Hi Hannah, thanks for your honesty in your vlog, looks good , might go there when I am next in London, Caroline Ireland 🇮🇪
enjoyed your honesty. thank you. love the supermarket videos and shopping centers.
Happy New Year Hannah
Battersea Power station reminds me of Marmite
(You either love it or hate it)
I'm not too sure myself.
Too be honest I wouldn't want to go up in the lift if they paid me
£22.00
Look forward to your next stream
Have a great weekend and week ahead
👍🏻👍🏻😁
I made sure I had my coffee and abit of chocolate all ready to watch,🤣,this was brilliant to watch, quite spacey, yeah probably worth $15 I reckon to,but great experience, thank u sooo much for taking us.much appreciated,.i was in London like 29 yrs ago just about to date,..so brings back very good memories...have a great day.🌎👋👋
Better to be honest Hannah, that's why your videos are the best. Happy New Year 💗
Thanks for braving this attraction for us, and yeah, will be booking the Skygarden (again) when I'm next in London. Great views, great cocktails, and a great cheese board!
It’s Friday, Hannah post’s day 🎉. Happy New Year 🎈🎊. Loved some of the graphics on the way to or inside the lift. Great video Hannah ❤
All those vloggers for TH-cam on the ride at the same time 😂
1:20 Happy New Year Hannah.
I was going to vlog Greenwich but the weather has been too bad!
“ 20 pounds to run 🏃🏼♀️ in a circle ⭕️ with strangers “ 😂😂😂
I live in LA and am so over all the theme park stuff.
It's just like a gym with a lift in it!?!
I went there about 2 weeks after it opened and the lift wasn't ready. But i thought that sounds like a cool experience. Thank you for saving me money in an already super expensive place. Great review.
Ciao cara. Esperienza indimenticabile, sei molto coraggiosa. Meraviglia. Brava, video interessante. 👍👍👍👍👍
Happy New Year 🥳 It's great to see an honest review. Please could you do some more foodie vlogs for 2023. I love an afternoons tea 😋🍰
Happy New Year from 🇨🇦
Sorry to hear that, hope you are ok x
Agree with you about the pre show. I kept wondering if that is what the trip to the afterlife is like if you haven’t lived a good life. Much prefer the other lift video where people were dropping their drinks and could stay up there for a long time. Cheers!
Actually cackled at you saying did I pay 20 quids to walk in a circle with strangers 😂
Within 5 mins of the video, Hannah, not impressed 😂 Thank you, was thinking of doing this....saved £20! Extra future beer money! For quark, the Crossness pumping station is quite fun. Seems similar to the Brighton 360 thing!
Happy New Year Hannah. Thank you for the honest review and vlogging the experience. Walking around in a circle 🤔
Happy new year and Thanks for sharing this with us. I agree on the length and the steps.
Wonderful as always. Thank you for the honest opinions. 👍
Happy New Year Ms. Hannah! Thank you, it was very interesting!
Absolutely love that I found you . I can’t travel so I’m living vicariously through your vids . Thank you for sharing ❤
Thanks for the honesty! Always enjoy your vlogs 😊
hello, I agree with you on some things, the burger looked good tho, just love eating lunch here in colorado US, and watching you cheers!!!
