We take off and fly to Octavio Frias de Oliveira Bridge. We then travel to the famous beco do batman (Batman's Alley) to check out some amazing street arts and graffiti of Sao Paulo. We then fly to the new business district on top of WT Morumbi building overlooking all the amazing architectures of Sao Paulo.
Then we teleport on top of the São Paulo Museum of Art to downtown Sao Paulo. Take a moment in front of the Municipal Theatre of São Paulo, we then head to the center of downtown at night. São Paulo See Metropolitan Cathedral is absolutely gorgeous at night. We end our immersive travel in front of the Monument to the Bandeiras (The Monument to the Flags).

Great video Hugh. The quality is exceptional and the stabilisation on the drone is very impressive. I understand what the guy below said but the key is to be discreet and don't be too noticeable flying the drone. Its very hard to identify who is controlling the drone and as long as you take it down quickly its very difficult to get caught. I am so split between going for this camera and waiting for the OneX 2

Qoocam 8K no doubt about it - you can see it in this video lol.

Hey man, looked really good! I like the way you got creative when in different shots with the camera. I suppose you had to remain close to make sure it didn't get nicked. Got a question, i understand invisible selfie stick tech, but how did you remove the drone! Surely the footprint for a drone is way larger and probably doesn't allow much overlap of the lens fov.

Yes it does still - it is not Titan - even 8K you can not compare it to a $15000 professional camera quality - like most of the video I post on this channel. You pay what you get. But check it on VR headset - your iPad might be newer one with very high pixel density display - which is not for 360 camera.
CreatorUp besides that, you can’t easily put the titan in the air. I really like the video quality.

Hugh, I still keep thinking Sao Paulo is one step away from the jungle even though it is one of the biggest cities in South America. Your video is so beautiful. Yes. The Titan - but TH-cam can not display its true power b/c limited bandwidth. We need better platform support - should start bugging Google to update their system!

Hey thank you for all the video, the sharing and the content are really amazing. But I have a question. I am trying to watch this video and other with my Windows Mixed Reality headset using the TH-cam VR app but I don't understand why the resolution is so low in the app. I read online that Virtual Desktop might be better however it is not free. What would you recommend to me to actually be able to enjoy the 8K in my headset?
Unfortunately, Win Mixed Reality headset does not play highest quality - the best quality is Oculus Quest. The 8K, you can only benefit now from Desktop player with 4K TV - so it look less 720P compared to other 4K 360. I am going back to review VR headset soon that has some new release can play 8K. For now, 8K is only future proofing your content. The devices need to catch up

I have a Quest in my work office I will try to compare, but I feel the display isn't the only limitation, because the quality is much better with games, I only have a very bad quality issue with the TH-cam VR content. I suspect it's a streaming problem. Is there a way to find the videos on other places than TH-cam like Steam or a download option? If not I will purchase the Virtual Desktop app (store.steampowered.com/app/382110/Virtual_Desktop/)

Another great video from the king of 360. I thought the drone shots were just spectacular. Seems that the Mavic 2 Pro was able to handle the extra weight of the Quoocam without a problem. Did you do much post processing? I mostly use 360 video with my Mavic 2 drone and then sideload the files into my Oculus Go. But here’s a stupid question: if the Oculus Go only has a certain screen resolution, will I be able to see a difference between 5k footage shot on Go Pro Max and 8k footage if I bought the Quoocam 8k camera? I think you reviewed a pair of 8k resolution googles awhile back but then I could never find them. Do you know what happened
Here is the 8K headset still in development mode: th-cam.com/video/4xNV8dD8o10/w-d-xo.html - the drone shot is done with GoPro MAX not the Qoocam 8K. Qoocam 8K require DJI Inspire and above class to fly - as it is too heavy. You can watch this on Oculus GO (working on releasing it on Oculus TV so you can check it out there). Here is the standard render workflow on Oculus Quest (same as Go) on ALL 360 camera: th-cam.com/video/iBGjn4rmFJU/w-d-xo.html - I donwsample Qoocam 8K from 8K to 5.6K here to match the GoPro MAX - having 8K meaning more details is captured and when downsampling - sharper image and better details than just 5.6K source - so it is always suggested to shoot higher resolution so you have more pixels to play with in POST.

That is a tough question - you are comparing the Professional camera (Pro 2) to a consumer camera. I will say get both lol. But let me show you the comparison so you can decide it yourself. Pro 2 still look a lot sharper and clearer in distance. This video has Pro 2 in it so you can check it yourself too.

Yes. Unfortunately - all drone are GoPro MAX - Qoocam need Inspire to carry - I think. But more on that later. Need to figure out stabilization first.

It should say 5K on your gear icon - if not, prob your internet bandwidth limit the resolution
@@hughhou This was on a 8" tablet, so 720 is the max resolution offered by TH-cam on a 800pixel tablet. But even on my 24" desktop PC, all resolutions are "s", not "p"; like "2880s". The picture looks jagged/rough.

I'm having issues stitching my DNG8 images from my Qoocam 8K.
Could you list your workflow from taking a DNG8 picture with the camera to the final product?
I use Kandao Raw+ to merge the DNG8 but then everything goes sideways from there, I've tried everything I can think of and I only get a black blob in equirectangular resolution when I try to stitch with Qoocam Studio when it decides not to call out an error about an "abnormal image"

I have the latest Raw+ version.
When I use Adobe DNG converter and then open in another program to save as jpeg, or even if I skip the DNG converter I get the error that QooCam Studio thinks the image is abnormal and doesn't load the file to stitch it.
The programs I have tried to use to save the jpeg are Paintshop Pro, Aftershot Pro, Raw Therapee, Capture One and Affinity Photo.

I know it is not gonna be Dec 29th - who said that? They will announce it early next year. Yes, each 2 min there will be a cut off for a new file - but the camera can record as long as your battery last or SD card still has room. The Qoocam Studio will recognize all the files and merge them together into 1 single render (or you can merge them) - there is NO GAP in between - I know some rumor said the 2 minutes recording time - this is simplely not true. So no worry. It will record as long as you can.

You can do the "blur" cinematic effects yourself in any camera in post with FREE GoPro FX Reframe plugin - you don't need a camera do it for you: th-cam.com/video/AHSJkm1G5Aw/w-d-xo.html - but I think Kandao will have that built-in on their mobile editing app - just like Qoocam 4K (it is already there)

No it is not just you lol. It is a problem in GoPro MAX - their stabilization got mess up on merging the 2 video stream - another big issue I found in GoPro MAX I need to report asap :(

This channel will help you. Fisheye you mean fisheye distortion? You can use GoPro FX Reframe to remove it in POST - but the camera can render out regular 2D video as well via mobile app - which will be out soon.

is this supposed to look good only on VR? the quality on my 4k tv looks bad.
Oh 4K TV? Yes. It will look REALLY BAD! It is not design for TV viewing. First, you can not move around like on your mobile phone (watch it on a phone first - it is a 360 VIDEO), Second, this should really be watched on VR - as it is immersive video so you can look around. Def not TV viewing tho :( I do VR content mostly.

That purple fringing is a no go for me... So sad I quiet like the camera over GoPro and Insta360. But tbh the glass quality is just simply not there yet. Maybe instead of putting all the work on the internal, polish the lens group to get a real high quality image. The glass is downgrading the precious 8k
Yes. This is shot with the beta unit not the production unit - so the optics is not as good. But wait on my follow up review and all these will be fixed - I don't have the production unit yet.
Absolutely! I’m also waiting for the Insta360 One X 2. Should be released in the next week or so. Very excited. 360 cameras are getting so much improved after years.

ChasingRiver Their CEO said it’s going to be released in December 2019. The release date was fixed already even though they claim the release date is not yet determined. I think the reason of keeping this secret is to make more people buy the One X before the new unit release, during Christmas big sale. One of my source told me it’s Dec 28. Anyway since they’re 100% releasing this month we can just sit back and wait. About the detail, the new unit is going to be waterproof, having better image quality, USB-C port and so on. Anyway I shouldn’t spoil all the fun. Just wait and see!

In VR headset or on TH-cam? Did you check it on 5K? I will suggest watch this with Oculus Quest and Oculus Go - it is design for VR headset viewing on TH-cam VR - not browser. Have you compared it with other 360 works done by other? 360 video can not compared to 2D quality just yet. I am releasing on Oculus TV soon - check there instead as TH-cam compress this a lot - the source look way better in Premiere lol. Thank you for checking it BTW!
You really need to be careful flying the drone-like that. No1, as soon as you put a bracket on your drone the insurance is nullified. You would have 0 chance of getting permission to fly like that especially with a payload and you need your medical certificate CMA which is issued by the ANAC so they can easily check if one was obtained. I have done a ton of work in the drone regulations and cases brought to court and you would not believe the number of fines that can be handed out for nothing more than taking off in a congested area. I am talking 10s of thousands of £$ w/e. No matter who the pilot is this is an illegal flight especially in that area. I wouldn't want to see you have issues because of a little drone flying.
Ow and remember new regulations are in effect in a few months, they won't affect Brazil though.
Great video though and the Qoocam 8k whilst nothing special certainly does a cracking job and for £550 ish I'd say the best value for money maaayybeee :)
