+chechar3dg Actually it refers to one of the first Witcher stories written by Andrzej Sapkowski. It was about lifting the curse off King Foltest's daughter who turned into striga.
+Tupac Amaru Shakur Unofficial Channel Bruh have you even played the Witcher 1? It immediately follows up on the story of Adda's curse after it is intentionally brought back to weaken Foltest's rule.
@@LK-mr9wj I know, but by the time Geralt reads this letter in TW3 it's been about 22 years since he lifted the curse the first time. Besides TW1 happens 5 years after the end of The Lady of the Lake which is like 18 years or so after Geralt lifts the curse for the first time.

@Harbinger I think Vizima barely has a small details in it. It should have been a big city like Novigrad, but too bad it can't make into the final game
I would think that this letter is actually full of bullshit - In the books we have the conversation between Geralt and Vilgefortz where the latter says that all the fancy blood things could easily be replaced with pig's blood to achieve the same results. This could suggest that the writer of the letter purposefully made up the "woman at the age of 100" to make it incredibly difficult for them to return the curse
yeah... as i said i just finished the first book... played tw2 after i felt like im missing out after 10 hours of tw3... tw1 seemed to have too shitty graphics
It actually refers to The Witcher 1, where princess Adda was reverted back to striga by Roderick de Wett and Geralt had to either lift the curse again or kill her this time. When it comes to Nilfgaard's involvement, I'm not sure if de Wett was a Nilfgaardian, but I know Nilfgaard itself wasn't involved.
Probably the first ‘something you missed video’ from the Witcher I’ve seen in about 3 years wow I don’t think I’ve ever even used Witcher scene in vizema
Adda the White was the daughter of Foltest, king of Temeria. She was born a striga as a result of a curse cast by either Ostrit (a local magnate who loved her mother) or Sancia (Foltest's mother). The magnate was in love with the king's sister, the mother of the princess, whose name was also Adda. When he learned of the incestuous relationship between the king and his sister, Ostrit tried to put a curse on the king and this is blamed for Adda's transformation into a striga. However, Foltest's mother was also furious at the incestuous relationship between her children and may also have cursed their child. So it is possible that either Ostrit or Sancia, or both, were the cause of the curse. If you watch the movie you can understand better

Kinda weird to think that by the time Geralt sees that letter in TW3 it's been nearly 22 years since he lifted the curse from Foltest's daughter.
Kinda sad and tragic that someone wanted, and planned for the curse to return. Actions of Foltest was not in any way Adda's fault
