My cousins in the Blackcats she's one the maintenance mechanics for the merlin, Leonardo Lynx, now replaced with the westland wildcat! No one seem's to do a wildcat as yet as she's wanting another built from me I've done her the other 2 the Merlin was nice! Hard to find it nowadays though!
Great model, my only comment is that whist giving the aircraft a weathered look the main and tail rotor blades are immaculate and show no signs of erosion which if the aircraft had been operated in sandy conditions would be evidant.
Looking at the footage at the start, the view being roughly proportionate to the view of the scale model now look at the completed model, hmmm, consider this; less is more, enough with airbrushing already and the faffing around with 'weathering' . Your model, like so many others on youtube is 'overcooked'.
Brought this kit from Airfix. The fuselage would not fit properly. Horrible. Trust me I trialed fitting before gluing, glue others. even taped areas down. It could be done better the amount of labour required.... Excellent detail otherwise. I just don't have time to fuck around with sanding down and putty. Please give a clean foundation.

Its a shame they couldn't get the door sliding like I loved on the 1.72 seakings when I was a kid And that's an old kit! Haha!
It's a cool effect but the windows don't really get that dirty. If I was the pilot I'd be extremely worried about my visibility.
