Edit: anyone replying with the original C418 music needs to remember that Microsoft doesn’t work with him anymore, So, they probably won’t use one of his themes for the movie even though they’re the most recognizable.

Yeah, the start was exactly the same it feels like, and the rest was pretty similar too

The first one felt like those early vocaloid music-box type songs (only thing is to add lyrics to it now…), and last one got the “Christmas, but make sci-fi and filled with DETERMINATION/HOPES AND DREAMS” feeling to it

Creator: Goofy and wacky, it gives the vibe of a creative, having their fun moments, their serious moments, with their strides all being the same.
Precipice: starts off as a Pokemon Mystery dungeon track, turns into undertale boss battle music and keeps going harder and harder and harder and harder like what the hell.
Creator has an absolutely UNHOLY amount of guitar in it…
AND IT’S AWESOME.
Precipice has a lot too
I think the blue and orange ones should be reversed. The orange one is fresh copper, so should have the clean sound of the original track, and the oxidised one should be the music box version since the oxidisation wouldve blocked out the details in the disks surface, only the high pitched sounds of a music box would get through

The theory i have is that all the instruments are on the oxidation, and the music box part is on the copper.
The new music is so coooooool!
And it has a much diffrent fell.
Creator for me is like top 3 music discs!

People are talking about how the oxidized one should be the music box version, but it being the normal makes more sense. Music box songs are always made to imitate ALREADY EXISTING songs, rarely do they make up a song of their own first. So it makes sense the less oxidized disk would be the music box version, the newer imitation, where as the original is oxidized because it’s older and what the music box is based off

There's definitely motifs from Battle Against A True Hero in the song. Similar note patterns too

I know everyone is talking about Creator but god Precipice is so FREAKING GOOD. Aaron Cherof is probably my favorite minecraft music producer
The original discs made the feel of Minecraft’s creativity perfect, the new discs are just made to be bangers for the sack of it, great combo to have now
I love how they are being creative with the new music disks from the electric guitar in creator to the synth and bells in Precipice it gives it a new flare that Minecraft music hasn't had before
All of them are ABSOLUTE BOPS! These artists and Mojang and are absolutely popping off with this update! I love it because that’s what Minecraft needs right now, and I am genuinely happy with how Tricky Trials has turned out so far!

I believe the withered look for the first disk were from the good memory they had in the early moments of the trial chamber. The second disk I believe is the preserved bad ending, which is why the disk is waxed.

precipice isn't in the lonely minecraft style but i absolutely love it !
In a weird way all the new music discs feel out of place in a good way. Really fits the lore of the new trial chamber!
The way the style is so distinc could be used in the lore to tell what specific era the trial chambers are from, music in the real world evolves, and if we assume it did so for the ancient builders too then we can assume when the chambers were built, the disc precipice uses electronic instruments and guitars which could hint at trial chambers being build very recently/being built during a sort of modern era, which would also explain why they're not fully oxidized when you find them, unlike most other structures wich are either in ruin or are ruins themselves

The last one sounds like a boss theme
The music notes coming out the top should be in sync with the beat.
The initial notes of precipes remember me to Deoxys battle, but this transforming on Battle Against a True Hero from Undertale + Metaton X, but all song is exceptional.
Creator gives me dont starve, fontaine and howls moving castle vibes whilst precipice gives undertale boss

I love these they sound like some turkish arabic indian series sound track
1st is bit medival waltz song that becomes more energetic, 2nd is exactly like those wind up music boxes, 3rd is a mix of christmas, MCC and synthwave

i'm obsessed with Creator- it's got this dark mechanical theatrical whimsy to it that i am so very weak for. it's like some hodgepodge of a dark circus waltz, Howls Moving Castle, and a steampunk Alice In Wonderland

creator feels like it would be great for some type of dining hall setting, and precipe is absolutely what would be playing during an ominous trial

i personally think they are cool (percipice reminds me of undertale for some reason, while creator sounds steampunk), but nothing compares to C418's music due to how nostalgic/calming they sound, which is quite fitting for a game like Minecraft.
but hey, thats just my opinion. I think both are great in their own ways :D
