Creator makes me think of a whimsical creature from centuries ago crafting the trial chambers, adding troll traps and little goodies in loot boxes while cackling to themselves, even knowing that the chambers would be only opened after they're long gone.
The biggest difference between the classic music disc and these new ones is that the classic ones were calmer and smoother (aside for 13 and 11) and fit more with the overall feel of minecraft at the time
They had a much more simple and relaxing feel. Really fit old minecraft perfectly. However, these new ones really do show the new life breathed into the game.

In my opinion blocks is just way to long but not mad at all. Far - Ah yes, the disc of relaxation expect I don't listen to it. Better then blocks because its shorter. Strad - the 2010's compressed into one song. Very good. Cat - The beginning is kinda all over the place with what sounds like completely random notes playing-then it gets good and the end is amazing. Wait - Wait, this song has lots of long mid-points between drops in the music, as if you have to wait for the drop to hit... WAIIIITTT Stal - Stal reminds me at the start of a detective asking questions and the person they are questioning goes all crazy when the drop hits and a whole new song starts lol, then I feel it bounces around a bit from the 2 people talking. Mall - Far but better. No really its just a better Far. Also combines the feeling strad gives me and adds the relaxation of Far. A tier: Mellohi - Now we are on some of the best discs. Mellohi is a perfect blend of Stal and also doing its own thing. Short and sweet. The drop near the end is perfection too. The only problem is that its very short but if it was too long then it would have been blocks again. Ward - My oh my this disc is amazing! The start sounds like the disc is scratched a little then it starts for real and all omg its just so good. I really feel the drums in my gut there. Otherside - Very good. Makes me think of a song that someone got exiled or something. Also the main 5 beats that play sounds like: "Who is laughing now ha" But that could just be a stretch. Pigstep - I got to write this quick before the Pigstep fans find me. Pigstep is amazing. From all of the sound effects (I swear one of them sounds like someone is slurping a slushie or something.) and how you really feel this in your gut. Its amazing. I like to imagen the piglins just start vibing and the main drop near the end is when the brutes get to them and even start dancing. S tier: Chirp - At least one of you were waiting for this. Best disc c418 ever made. The start is just SO nostalgic and the end really makes you remember that life goes on. When I first heard this disc I literally started crying omg I can't stress this enough chirp is so good Creator (Music box) - Despite being the shortest disc by a long shot its still very, and I mean VERY powerful and its carried by how a lot of people think its just part of Creator just without the "Good" part but its actually quite different. Very nice. Precipice - This song makes me sad. But not in the way you would think. It first of all sounds familiar to any Undertale fans such as myself (If you know you know) And the song is one of the longest but unlike blocks, it does it in a way I could never expect. The reason is makes me sad is that this could be the final music disc. Like no more in future updates. I doubt it but I feel like this disc is a combo of every other disc similar to the ender dragon fight music. Might be a stretch but it gets me thinking. Relic - One of the best. If not THE best as this song is just wonderful. I love how it starts off shaky like the person making it doesn't know what they are doing but they kinda figure it out as they go on. This is wonderful and just shows the care the writers put into their work. Creator - The best disc. No question. The start being like a music box then it gets all funky with what sounds like a flute. Then it gets all crazy with a guitar and next thing you know you're dancing how did that happen and now your crying because the ending sounds sad like what and then you just get all sorts of emotions at once and fall to the ground. Or is that just me idk lol bye
How the heck do I like creator so much that I have an oc animation for it Scene calm at first, girl main character working in her clock tower, electric guitar bit, the main villain battles with her, spell casting back and fourth, villain loses but receives mercy, everyone is happy, end music box bit, girl now has red eyes crying black tears on a black background, is she really what she seems?

Relic's a little too far down for my liking
Wait is top teir for me, full adventure time vibes
11 is my favorite
creator sounds like it came straight out of pokemon
not really
New ones are really good! Sadly, since I still play in 1.16.5, I haven't had the chance to find and listen these in game.
I still have to get the new ones so you are not alone. :)
Chip is best brother...its giving me old vibes❤❤
Me too
Oh, yes.
blocks always been the most underrated one
Chirp and Mellohi will forever stay the vibiest discs to me !
Mellohi is by “far” the best
I agree
Mellohi reminds me of an old Alladin game which I used to play as a kid
28:38 POV: U are at a funeral, you hear the Funeral March playing as you walk up to the person who met their end. Once you return to your seat, The entire funeral turns into a party.
mall and wait just rooted in me and i cant accept any other new disks.
if you play pigstep directly after otherside, it sounds like its one song.
What about Dog from a console edition? (Plays with Cat disc when the music is done)
not supposed to be there
@@Athalos-uu8xf 4J devs said they added it to it because they didn't want to add another disc while still implementing the track
I love cats and i always played the disc "cat" never trying others when i was younger and it always makes me happy
My ranking:
1. Creator (because I like the wither storm)
2. Creator (music box)
3. Pigstep
4. Mellohi
5. Disc 11 (only because of its lore)
6. Cat
7. Blocks
8. Relic
Precipice needs to be in there
what does creator have to do with the wither storm
@@emer486 It was created
what's your favorite music disc? mine would have to be ward
I think Wait is my favorite
Stal its absolutely my favorite i remember in 2018 i used to put it in the jukebox everytime
Creator
precipice is my fav
Pigstep is the best for me
The intro to far reminds me of the intro to Bombs Over Baghdad
Where are we now aka 'Wait' was the last Music Disc added before Pigstep
Yeah another thing is that
Adding a new disc after wait took literally 8 years
Wait was added into survival in 2012 in update 1.4.4
While pigstep was added in update 1.16 in 2020
We had to wait for it.
Cat just rips my heart out of my chest
Woah!!!! Is it painful?

Oh. And you can't forget Relic. The upbeat is so good!
for some reason I made a new little biome in creative mode I call it the deep temple they are a few blocks under pale forests and to know where it is? look for a oak leaves they are easy to spot since everything isn't pale around the leaves! the temple is full of traps
and puzzles! it took me ages to make!
Mall makes me feel like I'm in an alternate cursed world, dimension if you will.
Otherside will forever have a special place in my heart. 🥹
good music
the start to creator reminds me a lot of gravity falls
32:48 my favorite disc
Idk know why but the beginning of chirp sounds like the background music of an instructional video in an analog horror.
1 relic (my beloved)
2 percipipie (I can’t spell it)
3 creator
4 cat
5 pigstep (love it but not my favorite
6 strad

14 ward
15 far

finally. RELIC ON TOP
relic sounds too high pitched, as soon as i played it for the first time I thought "bring lena back plssss"
i can see you really like Aaron Cherof discs
based
50:25 banger
sometimes i wonder how lena got that sort of slimerancher music in.
For the old ones
5.Ward
4.Chirp
3.Cat
2.Wait
1.Stal
mellohi was my favorite and yet it still is!
50:32 gives me overcooked vibes, I feel like there is a minute left and everything just speeds up
My Ranking:
1. Precipice; Needs more credit from being outshined by Creator
2. Creator; Love the Medieval Theme
3. Otherside; Very adventurous
4. Pigstep; I used to love this more from its overall uniqueness compared to the rest of the discs, but then Lena Raines new album dropped and a sort of new vibe became the norm for Minecraft
5. Stal; You get the vibe, I like songs that stick out and this one is no exception. It's a chill yet tough theme and the recorder really makes it stand out as different
6. Wait; Love the upbeat theme. Sounds like that stickbug meme
7. Mall; Nice upbeat and calm theme
8. Ward; Underrated. need i say more???
9. Chirp
10. Strad; Nice building music
11. Mellohi
12. Blocks
13. Relic; Hot-take but I never really liked this one really
14. Eleven; The og horror lore of Minecraft
15. Thirteen; Ambiance, thats it
16. Five
Idk where to put cat but it would be like between 5 and 8
i dont think creator is medival themed
also i agree with relic, it sounds kinda annoying
