Nice video and beautiful home. What many of your viewers may not be aware of is many of the locals who live in towns north and south of Port Orford, refer to this town as Port Awful, due to the extreme winds not to mention its remote location. Brookings, Oregon, where you filmed "secrete beach" would be a much better town to stay in which you probably already know by now. Regardless, your video is well done. :-)

Hey Jim, we are glad you like the video! That’s interesting the town is referred to as Port Awful by locals. We were fortunate enough to visit the area when the weather was beautiful. We did however experience some windy areas around Port Orford, especially Cape Blanco Lighthouse. We do want to visit again so we will keep Brookings, Oregon in mind! Thank you for watching!

That's some interesting bullshit. I'm a local and I've never once heard Port Orford referred to as "Port Awful".
There's a lovely homeless camp and a McDonald's in Brookings though if that's your thing.

@@blackmagic63109 I moved to Brookings in 1990. One of the women who worked at Coos Curry Electric, told me that story about "Port Awful." I left Brookings, for Southeast Asia, in 2008. Brookings changed a lot since I left. There are not only more homeless there but a fair number of liberals moved to Brookings, as well. I certainly didn't mean to hurt anyones feelings who live in Port Orford, who some still refer to as "Port Awful." Enjoy the wind and thanks for sharing. :-)
