Edited the video to remove some features that y'all werent stoked to see on TH-cam. I'm from Ohio where there are no secrets but I saw the comments and I'm happy to help preserve special areas out here. I'd rather make friends with the local steelhead anglers than enemies. Also, we fished a totally different location in day 2 than day 1. Thanks for watching and please consider following along!
Nice job guys and beautiful steelies.i know where your fishing but your safe with me 🤣 I won't say where.its been a few years since I've been there but it does produce some awesome fish 👍
Thanks so much! Only my second steelhead out here so we were pretty stoked to find anything. It’s a beautiful place to fish, loved getting to watch them swim around underwater.
I saw you guys at the spot you parked and we talked about how to fish the spot I had just caught a nice chromer. It didnt occur to me that you were going to post on a youtube channel. If so, I would have asked that discretion be given on location. It appears the locals got you set straight.😅 Rad fish! That's precisely why I go there. Also saw your video on the first Oregon steelhead. I know that spot well. You're hitting all my spots! 😂
Hey Chad, to be honest it wasnt going to be a video when we started fishing! I only decided to share after Brendan caught that stud fish. So I'm sorry about not sharing that with you in the lot. Also, those fish were caught it a different system during day 2 than where we saw you on day 1. That being said, your quick advice was super helpful and we appreciated you taking some time to talk to a couple novice's haha Yes, when the video went up there were a few seconds with some revealing footage because i thought it was a cool view but shortly after realized my mistake and cut the telling bits out to keep in good favor with the locals. I want to be friends with the fisherman out here so I will be keeping that in mind for all future PNW uploads! Its a little different back home in Ohio haha Man, I'm glad to hear im fishing the same water as you, must mean im doing some good research 🤣 We should hit the river some time. Thanks for the nice comment and tight lines!
@@LifeOutdoors dig it! How do we connect without blasting TH-cam viewers our numbers or email addresses? Honestly, I was surprised you popped up in my feed.
@@chadcook7574 I was gonna say you can find whatever method works for contact in the about section on my page but I just saw your message come through from my website. Ill shoot ya a text 🤘
@@clayedwards6527 Appreciate that! I'm from Ohio where the steelhead fishing is all extremely public so I think ill need to shift my film style a bit to protect the places out here that are a little more wild than the Ohio suburbs. We didnt catch these fish in that river tho, switched up spots for day 2.

Oh yeah!! Cant wait to try and get another one this season!
Thanks for keeping the fishies wet before releasing them
Absolutely! Gotta take care of these wild fish.
I love how clear the water is! So beautiful
It’s an amazing spot!! Could hike around there for hours
What a freaking stud. Giants do exist… now I need to just get one that big in Ohio. Congrats dudes what a cool trip.
Amen to that brotha!! The fishing out here is... different than ohio haha that would be a crazy fish there!

What’s with the Red Wings hat? Must’ve lost a bet. Great video. Thank you
Hahah he’s not going to like this comment 😂 thanks for watching!
what river
Not going to put it on TH-cam, hope you understand 👍
Thank you for not sharing river name!
@@chadcook7574 You got it!
I would love to fish your spot. But I would take good care of it. And give it back to
Stumbled on the spot randomly! Sometimes just looking at maps will do the trick. We fished a different spot day 2 than day 1.
Beautiful spot ,& all that rivers fish are natives so please do a better job not showing the location.. congrats.
We didn’t catch any fish in that first river! We moved locations for the morning 👍 thanks for watching!
@@LifeOutdoors that second location reminds me a lot of berry's for some reason lol
Woulda been cool to catch one there for sure!!
edited the video down to take out the obvious structures, appreciate the feedback!
You guys need a net
Good steelhead anglers don't need a net
Just getting my feet wet out here, I’ll probably be getting a steelhead sized net now that Ive seen how big these fish can get!
A net can’t hurt when used right long as its rubber and the right size 👍
Some rivers deserve not to be put on TH-cam… recommend editing without the landmarks.
Fair enough! Noted for future videos 👍
@@LifeOutdoors awesome fish though. Heading there in a few weeks.

@@LifeOutdoorsthanks man. You’re a real one. I’ve brought this up before to people and they’ve refused to change it. Thank you. Stay wild.
