Not even close. 5.0 has great top end, the Infinity needs a bigger turbo to play with the 5.0

That 5.0 also has a T56 trans with a better gear ratio. Pretty much guarantee if the 5.0 had stock gearing and stock M82 POS trans it would look alot different IMO

what you saw was a mustang owner who lied about power. pretty shitty but its a street race so its run what you brung. the Q50 didnt bring enough, plain and simple. still a good car and platform.
a Q50 with those mods and power level is a bottom 11/high 10sec car at the strip. thats been documented many times over.

@@mongoose406 No, the tune is fine the mustang is just out of my range. It weighs 3300lbs mean while my Q50 weighs 4000lbs. That mustang is very quick!

@@Cartier_Ed who said he doesn’t have full dp’s? Uppers are basically a waste anyway. Bigger injectors? He obviously already has a fuel system to run E70. 3” exhaust is not needed with stock turbos. Plenty of flow with 2.5.
@@executiveinvestments uppers give you a bit more in the mid to high rpm power range. Definitely not a waste even on stock turbos. I have identical mods as another local Q50 and the same tuner only difference is he's running lower downpipes only and I'm running upper and lowers. I take him everytime.
@@KevinBoulevard uppers definitely not worth the 15 hp is gives. Most of the problem is the lowers with the cats. And you are lucky to beat the same car by a few feet in a long race. You saying some nonsense like you did is just that. Sure you race the same exact car, same mods same tuner. Sure. Funny you have zero videos. You don’t even have a car. So obvious. Talking about injectors and 3” exhaust. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
