Come to think of it, her life growing up was so fucked up, consuming and self-deteriorating having to try keeping the family and their reputation intact (gosh her parents were soooo neglectful and self-centered) but still, she became this world renowned empathetic surgeon with the biggest heart. She is flawed but God, how strong this character is. That's why I reaally couldn't hate her even when I ship Meredith and Derek so badly.

I feel like Derek made her far then she went for mark . One of the season he really told I did this . I made us far cause I was busy at work . Remember Derek kissed the coworker again when he went to DC . He knows to put people away . I know she cheated but she was also not happy in the relationship. Things apart she is real good soul . She didn’t even hated mer like mer hated her . Omg I love addision after watching family practice.

Mer didn’t hate her at all , she respected her and did not want to be a home wrecker at all she left Derek alone when she found out he was married and tried to stay out of their way and not bothered them but Derek was in love with merideth and Addie knew it , knew he loved merideth more than he has ever loved her , they all respected each other addie respected merideth and mer us a gracious woman respected And likes Addison
