If you really think about it, this is how life works! You get to meet these amazing people in your life and you works with them, evolve yourself with them, make mistakes with them and they become important part of your life. All of a sudden you’re laughing with them, sharing your all dirty secrets, crying infront of them with all those bad things that happened or happening in your life. At some point in life, you all just grew a part, you have to eventually!! someone will leave you for their own future or their happiness. Someone will eventually die! And Someone will definitely give a lifetime pain or joy. And these all thing would become a memory which you’ll carry with yourself for the rest of your life. We just saw this whole thing with this 20 years of series Grey’s Anatomy. How they started and how their life is going on..!!
This, this is what we all love and we all fell in love with. This is why we watch Grey’s anatomy. This is what all those people out there that havn’t watched it miss❤️❤️

I don't know why but sometimes I feel like my whole world of fantasy ends when this show ended. The losses were real. Somehow I started living with the characters of Grey's anatomy and now I can't let go of them. This show made sense of my life.
i always imagined the end of greys to be zola at an operating table with her ferryboat scrub cap and her saying, "it's a beautiful day to save lives." :)
For me the perfect way to end this show is to go around famous places in the hospital while the doctors and patients are doing their thing and have audio playing of major things that happened depending on what room they stop in like for example go to the bridge leading to the chiefs office and play an audio from where Derek gets shot, go inside the chiefs office and play the audio for when MAGIC confesses to cutting the LVAD wire, go to the specific room that Meredith and Cristina was in where Cristina gave her that speech that Meredith was the sun before Cristina left and play that audio, go to an Operation room and play the audio where Meredith wins the Harper Avery award, and then go to the room where Webber and Meridth do their infamous speeches to the interns and intertwine the speeches together for the audio and do all that for like 5 minutes with different audios and places in the hospital. Then go to an OR and there is someone laying on the table that is prept to get surgery and don’t show the main surgeon yet and zoom on their hands with the surgical equipment (it can be up to the writers for what they want their focus to be in surgery) then go up to the face slowly and it be revealed to be Zola and have her wearing Derek’s surgical cap and she then proceedes to say “it’s a beautiful day to save lives.” Then go out side of the hospital and zoom in on the hospital name that says Grey + Sloan memorial hospital and have Meridth do her last voice over saying “how well you play, that’s up to you.” With “The Story” specifically sung by Sara Ramirez playing throughout this whole scene. For me personally I’m a sucker for flashback scenes I cry every time when last episodes do that so that would be my perfect ending.
This video is amazing, I love it. Retracing these scenes made my heart cry because THIS is Grey’s Anatomy, my childhood. I remember when my mom and I watched it sitting on the sofa, eating ice cream. Meredith, Derek, Cristina, Alex, Izzie, George, Lexie, Mark, Callie, Arizona, Bailey, Webber, Addison, Jackson, April, Owen, Teddy… they were my childhood and I remember everything. I miss Grey’s… the real grey’s ended a long time ago❤️
Imagine being one of the new interns and if they had the chance to see this. They look at her like a God but then they see her when she was an intern and see the pain she's been through and the people she's lost. I just think that would be really eye opening
This is how I imagine Grey’s ending with a beautiful montage like this using an iconic Greys song on the background while Meredith delivers a similar monologue to these you used. And ending with her meeting with Derek at the beach heaven after living a very long and successful life… dying at 90 warm in her bed like Cristina said to Derek in 9x24 and her younger self going to the beach heaven and reuniting with Derek. Oh and I do hope we get Cristina back for the final episode.

I know it has parts that are unrealistic but it shows the reality’s of life and how the people you start with are not going to be the ones who are with you at the end it has a lot of goo life lessons in
I’m convinced that one of these endings will happen: 1) we get a sweet montage like this after mer operates on her last patient before leaving and it’s all lovely and emotional, 2) she dies, because greys loves killing off characters, or 3) they pull a ‘how I met your mother’ ending in that we find out she has Alzheimer’s and the whole thing is just her kids telling her stories she’s told them growing up
I miss the old crew and how the old episodes used to be and don’t get me wrong I love some of the new cast but it could never be unexpected and exciting original it feels like the new stuff is just the same as any other older one but I would love to see how this show ends although i’ll will be really sad about it☹️

But, looking past these things, can we talk about the last episode of season 18? It was so emotional. And this edit is so good to describe whole Grey's.
