I think the more you pause doordash the less priority you get, the most orders you accept, the more priority you get. Not positive on that though.
lol. I felt when you said “there’s a dasher telling people how much they make” i hate when dashers tell people how much they make. And make TH-cam videos and Tik toks. All they are doing is lowering their own pay by not keeping their mouth shut. Now places are over saturated and there’s drought do to too many people. Also I know who you’re talking about
The 30 days rolling order is such bs. Even worse then the acceptance rate crap it essentially forces you to work 7 days a week to maintain access to working whenever you actually want.

My zone is far worse because I taught thousands how to dash the correct way, now I got 9000 copy n past ninjas in my zone following my moves.

Bruh! I thought it was just me I complained for every scummy order I had to take just to get my acceptance rate to from 43 to 75. I only drive 10pm to 4amish and talk about the ghetto! DD constantly tries to put me into the strip. I have had bad experiences when delivering to hotels😅 No matter what I’m putting my best effort forth as a reflection of me nothing else!

Hey Richard, I'm a cherry picker just like you man. I've had platinum since the day it came out. I multi-app with Uber eats and instacart and a couple catering apps but still do $500 a week on doordash. Last week I did $31 an hour DASH time not active. So you can make good money just gotta use the art of the decline (trump reference) lol
How do you keep your status if you cherry pick. I cherry pick but my states are low. My ar is around 15%.
Why not do EBT?
I well be doing EBT this week short week took labor day off. EBT for me is $14.75 I am platinum now.
Not sure about Richard but I'm in Las Vegas too and EBT went away. I think the volume of trash orders and desperate drivers is so large Doordash realized they don't even need to pay so much to still get the trash delivered

Ya bro, it’s funny: for two years I didn’t know Eats factored in AR and just declined all trash. Still doesn’t seem to play a role for me….
Also, something I haven’t heard said is how Eats has a facial recognition sign in. This avoids the problem that is obvious to me: people sell DD accounts to whoever
I finally said fuck it and opted in to shop and deliver. I just was nervous about screwing it up but turns out I did great, so we’re all gucci!

I don't know if it's his reason at this moment but I'm in Vegas and it's not always available. I think they probably cut it off after so many people are on it.
Have you looked into batched orders? On the strip I used to get batch orders of at least 4 or more Sephora,Dicks Sporting Goods,Macys Walgreens. Food banks like 3 Square that give grocery care packages would give 4-13 stops and I would do Earn By Time. Once in a while 5 orders in a Walgreens batch. I put on dash preferences to opt out of shopping so that increases my chances of getting batch orders. Maybe those shops at Red Rock will get you a bunch of batches. Hope ya kill it Bud!
Just rewatched this. I hope you get gifted with orders. Man I remember that those days when I would be on the edge and get on Gold I would do earn by time till 5am and even get that hundred by sunrise. I wish I could say that you could do that in a week, but tbh I think it would probably be a couple of weeks doing EBT/batched orders. Stay positive!
Cant even dash now anymore in my zone. You just get first priority to dash if your platinum. It turns red earlier for you
Its common knowledge that corporations often take losses in order to manipulate markets and doordash scheduling wastes time nonstop to frustrate drivers into compliance.

@@SinCityDeliveries the schedule always offers surounding cities but my city is always 30 minute dashes every 2 or 3 hours , its a very bizzare scenario.
DoorDash you have to commit to in order to be successful with it. My market in the Philadelphia suburbs is super over saturated so platinum and dash now are necessary. I’m platinum with almost 300 deliveries within the last 30 plus i work a full time W2.
Door dashing was my prime till i killed a motor. Dropped to silver till i got another vehicle. Then they screwed me over on a stacked order paid me for one even though i accepted them separately so luckily got on spark whiched saved my butt for income
Well Richard, if you had over 200 deliveries, then you would’ve fell just a little bit during the month and I believe you would’ve been in a better position

I did my 50th delievery on my scooter went to gold status and took away my dashnow so now they got me zoned on northeast and southeast side town by unlv/pecos area not taking my scooter on no bus like that after i work graveyard at my taco bell store!

Richard, if you are picking up trash orders, why not switch to hourly?
Hourly is 10x worse. You're guaranteed no tips at 15 miles+ every order

Don't feel too bad, here in NY you need 200 deliveries to keep platinum. I also took off during August to rest my back, now have 18 monthly deliveries. Will take me a full month at least to get back to platinum. Ever notice how customers who claim item not delivered almost NEVER try and call you to see if you actually made the delivery? Those are the scammers. 9 out of 10 customers who legit can't find their food for whatever reason will call you...cause they are hungry. Lol.

Woo! Bro it’s gon be hard. I’ve learned to never let it drop to gold. It’s too hard to come back from it. Uber eats is way better. Higher paying orders as well and tips. When I did both at the same time I was making $2300-$2800 a week. I live in The Bay Area (closer to SF / Oakland / Berkeley) . I don’t do this anymore but do miss it at times.
