I visit also Ephesus, From Pamukkale & Cappadocia, the south, I think I have seen almost everything. Turkey is a beautiful country with all its treasures, it is definitely worth a visit. I have visited Turkey about 15 times and am going back on a trip to Turkey in May 2021 :-)

you beat me to it, I have only been to Turkey 3 times :) I love the Turkish Rivera and the Gulet cruise, after spending 23 days last June/July, I still haven't seen all of Turkey. The locals made each city more charming.

Bring back so much sweet memories from last summer! I took a train from Izmir to Epheusus & the House of Virgin Mary, it was 99F that day, I tried to seat on the stone for a break, it almost cook my a$$, lol I took a ferry to Rhodes for 5 days (love it) from Fethiye, then from Rhodes to Marmaris, continue to Pamukkale for 2 days, then Cappadocia. The pool by the cafe at 4.45 is called the
Cleopatra pool, I remember it was around 50Lira, all natural hot spring, totally worth it. I soak for 1 hour while watching sunset from the top of the pool, and didn't have time for Hierapolis, but just saw it from far. I couldn't resist soaking in the warm Cleopatra pool, the Roman came here to die. It felt so relaxing after walking up the Pamukkali barefoot! yes, barefoot to keep the Cotton Castle white, everyone foots hurts from the area where the calcium spike out like little fish scales. In 2019, tourist can buy a 15 day Museum Pass which will let you enter 90% of all Turkish museum around the country for 315Lira, totally worth it. I was too excited hiking barefoot on Pamukale that I lost my museum past, I still need it for another 10 days. I checked with the guards the next day, they did safe it for me! In order to retrieve it, I had to race walked uphill on the Cotton Castle barefoot again to find the security guard Amil who keep my museum pass. So suffering from those tiny calcium spikes 2 days in a row!!! If tourist keep their shoes on, it will lead to the name change on the Cotton castle to Black hills.
I paid my hotel owner 60Euro to take me to the very hot springs mostly for the locals, a few of the hot springs where brown/rust tone, so hot it will boil an egg. Another hot spring was underground, very cool. You can check out pics of my Pamukkale, Ephesus, Kos etc on my Instagram; ___beyondhorizon :)

I visited the Fethiye area last September and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately my plan to return this year has been delayed until May 2021 because of Covid-19 so watching your wonderful videos and learning a little Turkish from you is helping to plug the gap. I really enjoy the chats between you and Trudie too. Thank you. I look forward to many more of your films and informative commentaries.

Şirince is nice but I think if you visit its best to stay on Selçuk which is also an interesting town and take the bus to Şirence, it is only 10 mins.
