    Its amazing how these grand architectures and buildings were constructed, especially the old technology of hardmanship and enslavement used. We human should appreciate more of history! TG that painting of st John is supercool, even film from outside!

    Now I understand why you both chose Selcuk to be the next city to visit after Istanbul .. it is most appropriate for setting the Christmas mood🎄🎄🎄 ! .. the view around the remains of the ancient city is so epic ..     Did you find the" Australian carpet shop", as I did when I hitchhiked to Selçuk in 1987! That is my greatest memory of selçuk... As I was from Melbourne Australia and I had been living in Europe for three years....
    At that stage not too many people were visiting Turkey....

    When you guys get reverent at a location that holds a lot of history, you can really feel it, like a goosebump-y emotion. Really loving all this historical places, knowing you're standing at the same place that used to have a lot of significance hundreds of years ago.

      Exactly, and since the places are empty with no tourists around we can appreciate the places, after reading and learning about these places once we get to be there ourselves it’s overwhelming

    Wow! No tourists/visitors. Last time I went there, it was in 2018 and the place is packed like sardin. You guys are so lucky. Its even seem like a private tour just for you guys to explore the place.. 😂
    BTW Ephesus is huge. I took a whole day walked around and explored the ancient city ruin.

      It’s not walking distance from there, probably a long walk as for Ephesus it’s 3km from the city but it doesn’t feel like it, we didn’t visit the house of mary anyway we were not very interested in seeing it, if it was on the way we would’ve stopped there but to go there on purpose we decided not to go 😅🙃🙃

    Ephesus, the site of Seven Sleepers (As-habul Kahfi), an incident mentioned in both Christian and Muslim traditions. Your video gives some idea of how grand the city was at its height of glory. Jesus, Mary and John (peace be upon them); muslims revere them too.

      For what we understood Selçuk is very very touristic, almost impossible to visit the sites without people no matter the time but no because of the virus there’s hardly any tourists 🙃🙃

    In Quran, the closest apostles of Jesus (pbuh) were identified as al-Hawariyyun (peace be upon them). There are mentioned at least twice in Quran, although not by individual names and actual numbers.

      Yes they lived somewhere else before coming to Ephesus, St John came to Ephesus before and left and then return again later on with the virgin mary to spend the rest of their lives 😉

      Ada fahaman Kristian lain yg tidak mengiktiraf tarikh 25hb ini. Mereka menyambutnya di hari lain seperti orthodox Kristian. Tak mungkin kita mengakui sbb kita pun tak pasti. Kita sekadar memberi ucapan tanda kemesraan saja dan tidak mendalaminya.
