Spreading disinformation and misinformation about and during a national emergency like a hurricane should be a federal crime with a mandatory prison sentence. No matter who it is or where they do it, they should be charged. It’s costing people their lives.

On Sept. 25, 2024, 100 Republican senators and representatives voted against a budget bill to continue funding the entire federal government, including FEMA’s disaster relief fund, through the end of 2024. A separate bill to give FEMA additional funding to respond to Hurricane Helene has yet to be put up for a vote.
The repugs cause the problems and then lie in campaign speeches and say that the dems did something wrong. I'm glad that the dems are finally calling out the liars by name. They deserve it and I hope the voters in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina remember who told the lies.
And if democrats would submit a clean bill without billions for Ukraine, Climate Change, DEI Republicans would vote for it. But when the democrat mantra is never let a crisis go to waste why would you expect Republicans to vote for it?

Well, a community got hit in florida with massive tornadoe, and there are dead a wounded emergency vehicle's there taking care of wounded and shuttles, taking them to shelter a hurricane, making landfall.

She attempted to keep a man on death row even after evidence proved his innocence. Her approval rating as VP was 28%. Her approval rating as a senator was 8%. She worked on 164 pieces of legislation and not one of them passed. Yes she went 0 for 164 as a senator. Joe Biden himself destroyed her right to her face when she was running for the democrat nomination in 2019. In my training that led me to become an officer of the court, I was always advised by professors to be as "straight forward" as possible so that "everyone" was able to clearly understand the issues. I take offense with anyone who uses the term "disinformation". I was taught to use the terms "LIE or LIES". The connotation is far more definite and starkly apparent as to intention, as opposed to "disinformation".
