Thank you so much Amma for healthy and easy-to-make recipes.. whenever I see your videos, it's like a family member is showing me how to cook. Thank you for being there
And, Gitaji, as a Gujarati, I give you over 100 percent marks for our type of dal, that you demonstrated. You are a wonderful, calm cook. Thank you for all your recipes. 🙏❤
Thank you such a brilliant idea 7 days etc. I shall try most of them but sadly cannot get mung beans where I live in spain. I have been following your site for many years since our time spent in Ghana where I met a lovely lady Sumi who showed me the basics of indian cooking. I am still learning! and love your site.
Grateful to you Gita ma'am, tried your no cooking recipes too and totally loved it. Your videos help me take control of my food preparation and intake for a better health🙏
Very useful madam! Just wanted to share - there is a variety of dal made in our homes called pappu pulusu - similar to gujrati dal bit less sweeter. Boil and mash toor dal finely with turmeric powder. Add thin tamarind pulp along with slit green chillies, curry leaves ,coriander leaves, hing (more) and curry powder (usually one we use for vegetables like brinjal etc. ) and allow to boil on open stove for a while. Additionally can add boiled groundnuts or boiled drumsticks. Small piece of jaggery and salt. Temper with mustard, jeera, methi and red chillies. Garnish with additional coriander leaves. When we do not even have onion/tomato on hand can try and enjoy this tasty dish.
Wow!! Geetha Ma'am, such good recipe ideas. I'm going to try out all of them. These ideas will really make my cooking more diversified. Simple yet so varied in terms of varieties. 👍 Thank you so much for these briliant daal recipes. Namaskarams! 🙏
Madam your way of presentation is really superb. Iam regularly preparing 5 varieties of sprouted moong dal. They are easy to prepare and also very tasty. Thanks a lot.
Amma palak daal and tomato pappu turned out so well.. I had them just as it is, without any rice or roti. And of course when you make any Gujarati cuisine you give that dish 100% justification. Your Gujarati daal looked so perfact, that no one can say that it was done in an southindian kitchen by the southindian. I yet have to try other daal recipes, that I definitely try. Thank you Amma for sharing all your recipes.
Namaste mam. Thanks for showing 7 different varieties of tasty dhals.Very useful to plan for a combo meal.I will try the gujrati dhal as i haven't tasted it before. My pranams to both of you mam.
Wonderful geetha ma. Just like ur other remixes this is a dal package all in one place, thanks lot n as usual definitely it will be tasty n healthy. I really love it.👌👍🥰
Amma I love to see your video because you looks like my mother... I miss her a lot... Amma, i would like to buy a stainless steel cooker. Please tell me that the cooker you used in this will stick food at the bottom like black charing or not... Kindly tell me amma... Shall we use it to make veg pulao and other one pot rice items without any hesitation
You can use stainless steel pressure cooker . Cook it on low flame if you are making a dry sabji. When you add sufficient water or oil it will not stick amzn.to/45s5Dgi
Amma you have missed one type of Dal which is made nearly in every Maharashtrian Home which is called as "AMTI" (आमटी). No onion, tomato, garlic, etc required. It's just a simple Dal recipe which is made using Jaggary (Gud) and Freshly grated coconut.
Thanks for the varied seven day dal recipes amma. All tasty and healthy. I loved all of them. The aloo chhole at the end came as a surprise. I was looking for the authentic recipe and you gave it to us. Amma coriander powder do you use? These days some of them smell and taste a bit different. Thank you again for the wonderful recipes. Take care.

Hi Gita, that’s a great video, would make a nice thali, or would you mix with subzi? I want to eat it all! Hello from USA.
Hello. Thanks for watching . This is served as part of a thali or just as a side dish with steaming hot rice and a dollop of ghee!
@@GitasKitchen Thank you for the reply. Would you please make a video on how to pick items for a good thali, like what goes with what, and some tips.
