Lmao, the star of this video was Tipsy. She likes the good stuff like tuna, wahoo, and yellow jack. Love the videos Aaron.
I'll take blackfin any day of the week. Funny, I typed that just as you said it. Great video, and thank you for inspiring me to start spearfishing. Im getting better, I shot three snapper last weekend with a total of 4 shots fired. Took some time, but my accuracy and patience is getting better.
Balığı tutmak kadar hazırlayıp sunum yapmakta önemli : Afiyet olsun ! 😊😊😊
Thanks for another one. Enjoy your videos because im always learning
Appreciate the detail involved with carving out the bloodline to ensure a perfect loin. Also, the saltwater "washdown" you taught me awhile back makes a huge difference compared to tap water :)- Finally, after the light sear - putting the tuna in the refrigerator for a few minutes to help with a perfect cut is something I will try next time. Can't thank Will enough for this gem. Ohh....I failed to mention the new fresh haircut and trimming of the beard looks good. Cheers!
I see you keep those knives sharp. I used to fillet 20-40 fish a day for the dinner rush. Everyone else hated doing it.
You come to east coast of NC? Topsail beach here
Happy New Year! Looking forward to more videos! Enjoyed 2023 videos!
22:00 -- Your luscious locks!!! 😮
Is the wifey trying to tame you in time for the holidays with family?
Lol quite the opposite. She likes the long hair and the beard. She wanted it long for the wedding, but it’s a nightmare to dive with. Cut it shortly after the wedding.
I know you haven’t fallen out of the boat yet, but that sure was rocking and rolling for a bit, and with the boat in gear………..
Tipsy is too cute!
By the way, MY Mrs says to tell you that you look much better with your hair short.
Curious if you carry some sort of kill switch if you were to go over while alone, you mentioned staying in gear, but my first thought is I can't swim that fast
Always remember fellas...happy wife...happy life 😂
Ran into an old friend at the store the other day, whom I haven't seen in a while...we talked for a few minutes and I asked him how was his wife doing, were they still married...he said yeah we still together, she is more like a sister now though...🤣 Then he says, you know what the best part about being married is ?...I said no what ? He said...THE GIRLFRIEND...🤣 I told him well your wife finds out, she gonna take you to one of two places...one, the cleaners, or two the grave yard. Congratulations on your 💑 marriage.
🤣💯👍✌
Aaron damn dude you clean up nice I like your haircut
Aaron - your new look fits you well.
I'll bet it's a lot more comfortable diving with a wet suit hoodie, no man bun.
Keep up the good work.
Nice job Aaron. Another great video. Loved the recipe too. I need to find some pickled onions. We’ll be down in 2 weeks and we’ll be out there fishing for some tasty fish to practice your recipes on. Thanks so much for sharing.
Another great video y'all. Thanks again for sharing with us.
Aww man, Fresh tuna... I had to wipe down my keyboard.😂
Love seeing Tipsy get some fish and sneak some lick/nips on that fish. She's a good ol' gal. Reminds me of my passed fishing buddy. I hope Tuna got some too. Great episode. Thanks for showing after care and filet of the tuna. Cheers!
Aaron, you sure look handsome with your hair clean cut. Not that you aren't attractive from within also and even before with the wild fisherman look but WOW the short hair is truly classic and worth noting. Good on you, son!! You and your lovely bride are adorable. Thanks for another great fishing adventure and delicious recipe.
He does seem to be a genuinely nice human with compassion and care for others and his surroundings.
@@silvernatedogghe doesn’t seem. He is.
OK BOOMER.. jk it looks good but the long hair and beard was pretty BA not going to lie. But obviously you cut your hair for what is probably one of the most important days of your life. Thanks for the vid Aaron.
Nice work enjoyed the video!
Thanks for the fishing 🎣 trip and the cook. Needed that after today 😊
A couple of questions:
When you are out by yourself, especially if seas aren't flat, what safety precautions do you take from going overboard?
Also, the boat is rocking a lot but the horizon is fixed. Is that all stabilization in the camera or are you mounted on a gimbal?
Love the videos! And congrats on the marriage!
Great question I was gonna ask tht to what if he went overboard they make a system tht shuts the boat off very life saving.
Great video as always, like the new hair
I really enjoyed this one. Took me about three times to get through it as the white noise acoustics of the water and wind worked like an anesthetic and as the last thing I like to watch in the evening, I was out. But, as always I appreciate you taking the time to create these and share them with us.
haha glad you enjoyed it! thanks so much
You should get a knife sponsor, tired of watching you filet fish with garden shovels!!😂😂
don't you dare say bubba blade, those dexter basics are the best knives out there for the money. easier to sharpen and last longer than all the $50-$80 knives.
I wish I could talk my girl into selling out here and moving down there!! Every time I watch a video the itch gets worse. Congratulations on the marriage!!
that's how I ended up here, got tired of watching it. problem is rent and housing market has almost tripled since then. hard to get in, if you every make the move my wife is a realtor just let her know!
So simple yet looked like one of the better meals you’ve cooked in awhile. You got that sear to perfection!
What are your prices .I am from Jamaica 🇯🇲 I like the diving part of it more
I don't offer charters anymore unfortunately, glad you enjoy the videos!
I cant get used to you without the hippie hair, lol. Nice bonus vid!
Enjoy your content. My son lived in KW for several years (limitary and then government contractor). I bought him a River Hawk 16’ skiff that we used in the mangroves, similar to your trips. You bring back great memories.
Still the thing I look forward to on Monday evening and occasional Thursday! Been awhile since we’ve had a giveaway with the letters popping up on the screen and the link to enter.
Looks rough out there. Nice video.
I love the way you take care of your four legged babies! The fishing was great as well!
A-Aron, you are a stud and I love your videos from top to bottom every damn time, they are great!!! And just being super respectful, your young wife is absolutely beautiful, especially in that jump suit!!! I love you two!!!
Another great adventure Aaron! Always a pleasure watching you take advantage of God’s bounty and your knowledge of food prep is more than worth the watch!
Great video! How fast do you typically troll?
depend on the lures im using and conditions 8-10 knots for diver plugs.
Hothouse cukes AKA English cucumbers are the way to go. They are burpless and are always available.
Aaron, would you mind listing the ingredients for that sauce you made? Thanks.
Hoisin, Sriracha, chipotle mayo
Thanks....funny, in the video sounded like you were saying "poison". And for someone that is NOT very kitchen savey, I have never heard of Hoisin so I had NO idea what it was supposed to be. Thanks again.@@KeyWestWaterman
Love watching your content. My goal is to live your dream when I retire. On another note, you make quite a bit of tuna. I just wanted to share a super easy kind of cured recipe for tuna that I have used for about 2 years now. I knew it was good, however I shared it with a retired Navy coworker a while back and when he tasted it, you could see the look of enjoyment in his eyes. After finishing it, he said that piece of fish brought him back to the days when he was stationed in Japan, which then brought back lots of good memories. Anyway just thought you would enjoy it and is super easy.
1 - take the tuna loin, I would cut off the small pointy ends off to make almost a block but not necessary
2 - Boil the loin for about 30 seconds to a 1 min just to cook the outside a bit, then immediatly take out and put in a ice/water bath to stop cooking
3- while the fish is in the bath, mix 1/2 cup Soy sauce, 1/4 cup of Mirin, and 1/4 cup Sake in a ziploc bag
4 - take out of bath and dry off
5 - Place fish in the soy/mirin/sake mixture and squeeze out air
6 - Place in fridge for 10 hours
7 - After the time take out of fridge, dry off loin, slice and enjoy!
Nice! That fish grabbing the lure as you were reeling in was cool. Changing speed while trolling occasionally does the trick. Love some tuna action.
Love your videos. They are informative and entertaining. I just watched this one and enjoyed it as usual with one exception. Please don't take this a criticism, just my thoughts. I have fished fresh water for about 55 years mostly Bass. I have fallen out of the boat two times, both while operating the electric motor. I was in shallow water and could get back with some effort. In both cases the boat was not leaving me under power. In this video I assume you were solo and the boat was in gear most of the time. You even made the comment how you preferred that technique. My intent is not to preach, I only know for sure that both time when I fell out, I was thoroughly surprised. Some words from a retired USCG Helicopter Air Crewman and old fisherman.
clean cut Aaron! when's the wedding?
the haircut is looking good Aaron, all high and tight makes you look like a businessman haha! thanks for the vids as always sir!
Fishing with Zach week of January 28 if you’re around would love to go fishing with you
You guys often leave doors open, there is no bugs and mosquitos? I visited Key West once to take my daughter for therapy at Island Dolphin care and I remember tons of mosquitos.
Aaron Dude, You look much better with the Hair cut and beard trim! Took 20 years off you.
That tuna looks awfully good but I prefer skipjack tuna which was always sliced thin and a quick flip on the electric grill was devoured while the boat was unloaded and fish iced and Tackle stored
I love watching the way you handle the fish, and the pets coming in wanting a bit. These videos where you cook what you bring home make me really jealous of that kind of ocean to table ability you have. Also, love the haircut! Thanks for the video upload.
Im new to the show great job.
Just a fyi we clean the tuna on the west coast a little different comes out the same as you but its faster and easier on the knife. The fish line just comes right off in a perfect triangle. Try checking out West Coast tuna cleaning. On some of the channels may help you out little love your show great show.
Too shallow right now wahoo have been thick in roughly 250-300 feet
What speed is good for trolling lures
the divers like that I like to troll around 9-10 knots if they will stay down. sometimes the seas or conditions make it tough, but the faster the better if Im targeting wahoo.
You dont know the day? I wont be around for the explanation. Thanks for the content.
Where in NC and why? I’m in Wilmington NC and fish out of Wrightsville Beach.
brevard just outside Asheville. wanted some quite time away from the world!
Just a heads up this video didnt want to show in my sub box🤷 it was there earlier then wasn't and reappeared after i started watching it maybe just me🤷
Keep it up 🤙
If you would have had me on board in that kind of swell, there would have been no need for chum.....
How was your wahoo bite from Canaveral? We have a pretty good one from ponce north.
After catching black fin did u think about switching to feathers to troll
Man I know you are good at what you do but I hope you use a wireless MOB system. Risky without it
Do you have a smoker? Great way to cook up and vacuum seal fish. Nothing better than fresh but smoked tuna belly and collar is dynomite!
Yup just smoked a ton of wahoo yesterday
Can you recommend a good beginner speargun? Thanks you
Arron ;, u ever met another captain al savill ?
Fished a couple pro am in the keys .
He was chasing the best fish tastiest, strongest, are the ones trolled for IMO 7:54
Damn you clean up nice! That a boy! Great video entertainment
Aaron, what is your preferred tolling speed in this scenerio
I’ve been shopping MOB kill switches in case I get tossed off my boat and seeing you troll alone in rocky conditions made we wonder if you use anything like it.
Man, I was thinking the same thing. In Texas we have to be attached to the kill switch with a string and clasp.
@@GoatRoper911 in Florida we do too on boats less than 25 feet. 26+ and you don’t.
How fast are you trolling there?
9 knots ish
Wait a minute.... where did the curls go!?
Haircut=Dat's Money Dude!
Hi, are you fishing alone? Got engine kill? Or fast swimmer?
very fast swimmer.
Bonus night❤ Just realized Aquaman gor a hair cut.. (assuming for wedding)😊😊😊😊
Looking good, and looks like U2 are feeling good❤❤❤❤ Enjoy life as much as we in comments. Enjoy U❤
Actually the opposite. She wanted it long for the wedding i cut it right after! Haha thanks so much.
@KeyWestWaterman Long live AQUAMAN and Mrs. AQUAMAN of Key West!❤ ( I can't say aguawoman for Disney I assume probably, woke it) enjoy ❤❤❤❤ always true . You 2 are great people and like butter on lobster.. ❤❤❤ forever cool
Don't fall out! proximity kill sw?
Do you wear an auto kill switch when you’re alone?
How old is Tipsy?
Almost 13
Love it that you think it’s Sat. Wish I didn’t know
I was surprised at your trolling speed (fast)... what MPH for Wahoo (or anything else) is most productive?
I try to keep it over 8-9 knots for wahoo depending on the lures I'm using
Wow.. 2-3 k fishing for Salmon/ in the Great Lakes... that is quite a difference! Thx@@KeyWestWaterman
Great vid Dibs.Where is your hair?
Yeah,backstrap.auto correct.didn’t catch it.
I have Brand New Pearl Fusion White Cowling sets, sides, front back, for complete color change for the 2022 Verado 300hp For Sale. 3900.00 per set have 2 in stock. love your show! Now please pass my show on please? Cheers!
Holy shit bro I just noticed you cut your hair
What speed is best for artificial lures?
Thursday video? Yes please!!
I love these videos. Keep them coming!!
In da ditch bruh. Nice work,
do you think tipsy was listening to the sea.
Tipsy out here eating better than me!😭
"Missed a little" my dogs love when I miss a little. They always get it as well!!
Hot house cucumber - cucumber grown in a greenhouse, rather than a field. We typically see them in Ontario as 'English Cucumbers'
Will left town? He is the opposite of a snowbird. YOU DONT GO NORTH IN WINTER WILLLLL!!!
If it’s small leave it on there as wahoo bait
Dude! What happened to your hair?
Hair cut looking Human...nice
food look good good footage on water👍🏼👍🏼
Too funny, the very first comment I was going to make was i almost didn't recognize you with your new dew, look pretty sharp there Capt. Those B/fin looked to be the perfect size. Hope you find tbat hoo. Best of luck and best wishes to you and your new partner for lfe.!!!! Guess everyone else noticed right away as well 😆 🤣
I got seasick just watching.
What rod n reel set up were you using?
Great vid Aaron. Do you wear a MOB or anything when youre out trolling solo?? Seeing it was a little choppy and you working the fish while in gear gives me anxiety 😂. A wireless kill switch for 200$ is peace of mind for me. I only wear it when im out solo. Falling in the water and the boat motoring away is a fear of mine lol. Again, great video!!!
TIPSY is a good one. Sweet doggie.
Maybe it's just me. But I like that camera view with the sky so still and the boat rocking back and forth...
TNX 4 VID LOL
You cut your hair away! Lol Still amazing videos just a observation! Love every video sir! Definitely don’t stop land appreciate your time and work into them!
Great episode ❤nice hairdo too🤭
How fast you trolling?
