Started working out one and a half months ago but only the upper body so I decided to begin with the lower body too. Followed this workout and after the second round I felt like I someone trying to walk on high heels for the first time. Loved it!
Dude, straight doing this tonight as my training. Love your form. Didn't realize the level of importance to have toes pointed more out with the weighted squats, or just in general. I can feel it just watching and it feels good. I'm figure training and hubby is training me, slash also working out. He's an ex football player with old injuries. I appreciate that the weight level and leg depth can be changed to fit needs slash capability. Great workout. Thank you. I know I'll love it.
Thank you for the constant motivation throughout. It really helped me keep going when I wanted to take a break. Just goes to show you have more in you than you give yourself credit for! Loved this video.
This was fantastic! I thought this would be hella weak since it's on TH-cam but I'm sweating like crazy, I barely finished it and I go to the gym 3x a week. Def need to incorporate more strength building in my routines. Thanks Scott!

hi scott. i am a huge fan of ypur videos and have incorporated some of your excercise in my gym plan. But I now I have a problem. my inner thighs have fat and the become puffy with upper thighs being big. I started doing cossack squats and lateral lunges but it has not helped. can you suggest something please.
I'm very new to working out, but I've learned that going slowly on the negative is what tears your muscles (in a good way) and builds mass. This looks like it's more aerobic instead of muscle building because he's dropping so quickly. Am I correct?
The Calf muscle isn't specifically targeted through any exercises in this workout. You use a little but of you calves in squats but not enough to build muscle mass affectively.

Emerald Santana Depends on your approach. Many reps + at least some resistance = Size. Shorts Reps + more Sets, but heavier weight, and you're focus on exploding = Strength.

Then PUSH again, to let your body know: "Damn, I need to grow, I can't handle this". Also, you need to eat. although, If you can do 25 each set(4 sets), then I'm going to assume that you need to go heavier-- it's too easy for you(I'm assuming).
Ooo ok.. yea i need more weights lol.. so is it ok to do it once every other day for example monday, rest tursday, go again weds rest thursday, go again Friday, etc.. or is that too lil time for my legs to rest and grow?
Emerald Santana My advice for you is to listen to your body. If you've busted your ass, worked hard, and your legs are sore the next day, of course you rest. As you continue to workout, your body will become conditioned to working out, and have to rest less. You ask if it's ok to work them Monday, rest Tuesday, work the same muscle groups Wednesday, rest again Thursday, and work again Friday. I'll say "No". In my opinion, you should be resting them for a few days. You can work them very hard Monday, then MAYBE work them out again on Friday-Saturday. Though, If I feel like that I didn't work a certain muscle group hard enough, I'll come back the next day, work them again, and rest for a week. I agree with letting them rest, more. Sorry for such a long answer. Don't you forget: Adequate sleep is important! Be as stress free as you can. Also, eat. You need food to grow (I'm sure you already know). Also time, and patience, and... yadda-yadda.
this was an okay workout. I will say it is not for women though. this workout is strictly glutes, hamstrings, and quads. it doesn't focus on the problem areas women have like inner/outer thigh. I feel like this can help begin toning but it won't help a,woman shred the fat off her legs.
This is for any one who wants to work their lower half. I'm a woman and I do this workout and I use a pair of 20 pound dumbbells so 40 pounds in total. Gender has nothing to do with this.

It could be that you're quad dominant, which one I've dealt with. You should incorporate glute activation warmup first.
