It's gonna be hard to believe but I bought mine for $460 last year. Owner was originally asking for $500 but I knocked $40 for gas. Horrible condition visually but no rust, got it running in the owners garage after it sat for 5 months and drove it an hour home while it hemorrhaged oil from the broken dipstick tube. 103k miles, I still need to make a video on it
I paid $3800 from a dealer auction about 10yrs ago. I think it had 140k. Same color, very clean. No rust. Clean title, but it had front-end damage history. I can't remember what i sold it for.
i just bought one with 156K body and trans with a 77K PT GT engine swap big wheel stocker turbo 21 PSI stock manifold borla dual tip billet clutch fork billet flywheel ACT clutch booger bushings for 4250$ but needs tires probably front brakes and leaking cam seals minimal rust other than sunroof and left rear door jam
These cars were and still are def fun I could rationalize fixing it up being that it’s pretty solid other than the rust you can see but I would have to bargain that every bolt is prolly rusted out and probably a lot more under the car we couldn’t see. But I would prolly buy it solely for parts to find a chassis that needs the drivetrain.
My uncle just sold his srt to me for 3500$ originally was doing 4000$ but he just found out he has a baby on the way so he through me a deal , has some rust but not a lot its in good condition no lights on the dash no 3rd gear grinds has 151k miles on it couldn’t beat that price with a stick !! Drives like its new
These are definitely cool, brings me back to my younger years
